    Hi guys

Hope I'm posting this in the correct section.

I have about 8,000 RC's mainly from the Social Media site that Caesar's stopped a few month's ago.

My question is how do I keep my points($$) from being lost when the 6 month's(or is it a year) of inactivity is reached.

Bearing in mind I'm in Scotland and can't get to a casino anytime soon to keep my points active.

Any help would be much appreciated, like is there an online site I can purchase something to keep my points till i next make it to Vegas next year.

    Cheers

    Jimmy

Get the Total Rewards Visa Card, one of the benefits is that your RCs won't expired.

I believe you get credits for purchasing coins on the Caesar Casino app. 8000 Rc's are $80.00 so keep that in mind.

If you send me your TR card down I will bet a few $'s on it for you when I go to USA in August and again at Xmas.

Looks like they revived the Total Rewards Marketplace. If you can use that (maybe buy a gift card?), that's the best way, because you actually get something tangible for what you spend.

Otherwise, I think using the Facebook Caesars Casino app would be a 2nd choice, I think you had to buy $5 in credits, which got you 5 cents in Rewards Credits and extended the expiration date.

(It looks like with some of these, there isn't any way to earn credits, only redeem.)

Thank you makuk, only problem is I don't have an actual card as my brother forgot to give me it back last year in Vegas lol.

Thank you cphllps, will check this out.

And again thanks Chuck, will have a look at the best/easiest way to keep it active as don't really want to lose $80 I've accumulated.

    Thanks All.

I'm with chuck, do the Caesars Facebook page.
I had thousands of rewards credits on my TR account that were ready to expire but i bought the minimal amount of coins ($5, i actually only paid $3 do to a promo), and my account received an extention for another 6 months.
So i put $3 ($5 without the promo) to use next month in Vegas to pay for my resort fee (i'm comped for my hotel room).
Thanks to VMB members i will be able to use my credits next month when i return to Vegas.
My account was upgraded very quickly, i think it was under 36 hours.

I'm not sure if Total Rewards Dining is an option for you but on our last trip we put no play on my wife's card and with our next trip not until October her RC's were going to expire. I tied one of her credit cards to it and we ate at a local sandwich shop that we already visit and the points posted to her account in less than two weeks.

As everyone has said, FB or TR Marketplace are probably your best bets. Third option is if you can get to a TR affiliated property in the UK, you can transfer any points over to your US account. Cheap way? Do a survey on Caesars' UK site for 250 RCs, walk in and just have the desk do the transfer.

Thanks for all the replies, I've managed to buy $2 worth of credit on the Caesars Facebook game and will wait a week or so to see if it advances the expiry date for my RC's.

    Cheers again.

Please let us know if it works. I'm hoping we get to Vegas in October, but haven't booked yet. I have about $50 in tr credits, and my OH has almost $200. We definitely don't want to lose them.

If the facebook game doesn't work, shopping online via TR marketplace should also keep the points alive.

Yeah if you go to walmart.com via the TR Marketplace, if you poke around long enough, you should be able to find something really cheap that they offer free shipping on for some reason. Like a $2 pack of batteries or something. That's how I used to to it before they took the marketplace offline. I didn't realize they had brought it back.

I don't think $2 will do it, I belive it needs to be a minimum of $5 or $10.

From what I saw on the Earn/Redeem page, no. Because you don't earn any RCs when you buy a TR gift card. I think you can redeem RCs to buy them though.

The $2 purchase of chips seems to have done the trick as my expiry date has been extended by 2 months to jan next year. So if I buy another few times I will be fine till I get to vegas next year.

I will check out how to put in the TR number as I cant remember how. I joined via facebook though not sure when or where I put my tr no.
