Hi everyone! I'm thinking of a trip for the first week in September. Trying to decide between Aria & Palazzo. I've stayed at the Aria several times before and LOVE it there., but have never stayed at Palazzo before. Main things important to my fiance & I are the pool as we spend all day outside, access to good food & a decent room (love corner suites at Aria) Any advice or suggestions?

Both are really nice resorts. I like trying new things, so I'd pick Palazzo all other factors being equal.

I like Aria better. I agree with Todd that you should try Palazzo if you're really wanting to experience something new. But other than that, Aria is better. aria has the better pool, both have good dining options (I just prefer Aria's options), and the corner suite at Aria is better than the standard room at Palazzo

I have stayed at both. I chose the Aria because I prefer the rooms there. I do love the location of the Palazzo with all of the restaurants and shops that are available because of the addition of all the Venetian choices. Why not try the Palazzo and see what you think.

You can't go wrong with either... but location would tip the scales in favor or Aria for me.

I recently stayed at The Palazzo on my work's dime. It was a first for me. To me, The Palazzo is too far North for me. I personally prefer gambling at MLife properties . However, I'm glad I was able to stay at Palazzo once. The room is VERY nice and the restaurants are very good. I didn't get a chance to see the pool though.

Ditto. Aria is too far South for us. But you really can't go wrong at either.

I have stayed at Aria and was pretty disappointed by the pools. I loved the pools at Bellagio, very elegant and relaxing. The pools at Venetian/Palazzo look even nicer, at least in pictures. Palazzo has my vote. But if you are interested in outside suggestions, Bellagio blew me away. So close to great food, both in the resort, and next door at the Cosmopolitan.

I think Palazzo's standard room is the best on the strip, it's nice and big and feels that way. The bathrooms are nice as well. And I really like the rest of the property.

Location on the strip really means nothing to me. The advantages Aria has are that it's part of a larger chain for purposes of marketing offers, and it has a bigger selection of true suites at lower price points than Palazzo. It's a huge jump in price at Palazzo to a Siena Suite.

Other than that, it's a tossup to me. They're both excellent.

I too love Aria, but I'd give Palazzo a try just because you haven't--I don't think you will be disappointed either way.

Loved Palazzo. All rooms with big bathroom and separate sunken seating area. Most have been refurbed within past year. Rest underway. Very professional service. Shared access with Venetian. 10 pools and loads of restaurants, ranging from Grand Lux and food court to Bouchon and Carnevino. Haven't stayed Aria, so can't comment. However, why not give something new a try?

My vote is for Palazzo. Wife and I stayed there for the first time in May and got a huge suite upgrade. There are so many great restaurants between that and The Venetian. Although a little North, if you take into consideration how far off the Strip Aria is when walking between casinos, it's almost a wash.
    Have fun!

Aria all the way BUT, since you haven't stayed at the Palazzo yet that gets my vote. See you at the Aria next time around..

I don't enjoy the aesthetics of V/P (other than the pool deck), and Aria is newer and a little nicer overall, so it gets my vote. My list of Strip Resorts is 1) Wynncore 2) Aria 3) Bellagio 4) V/P ... and IMO you won't go wrong with any on that list, so choose whichever appeals to you the most.

As you can see they are both great properties so it comes down to trying something new....Palazzo. Im also willing to bet you will switch over to the V/P properties after this experience.
