I decided to not recycle my clown car picture on this one!

That looks like a really cool show!
What's showing at Circus Circus then? :D

Thanks for the link, iskion1!

I hate circuses. They're right up there on my list of hates right under zoos. Yuk.

    No animals in this circus.

Doesn't matter. It's a psychological thing. Just the mere thought of a circus puts a frown on my face. And yet, I love the Cirque du Soleil shows.

THIS (Wicked) is the one show I'd pull my fanny off a game for! I've read a good number of his books (Gregory Maguire) and "Wicked" is one of the shows I really, really want to see!!!!

Didn't Wicked do a run at Venetian? Was it designed to be a limited run or did it just not do well?

    Or am I imagining it?

It's still running at the Gershwin on Broadway which I think is the biggest capacity on Broadway "proper" at 1,900.

Bad choice and I hate the idea. Weve already got enough Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas.

It's got to be difficult to get a show for an international audience.

    it probably did, either...

    a) you're just cooler than I and have your finger more on the culture pulse (this is a given!) Or...

    b) it was before we really were hitting Vegas regularly!

    I bet it's a combo of A and B :D

Wicked has played the Smith Center twice now and sold out both 4 week runs. Phantom did a run at the Venetian.

Ah, that's where it was. I couldn't figure out why Google wasn't turning up anything at Venetian for it.

Yeah, Phantom ran forever, hearing the organ music blast out of the speaker in the elevators at Palazzo was the unofficial start of a trip when I first started going.

aside from too many circus shows in Vegas, I did just see the touring version when it was in Dallas and it was really good. Geez though, a bit over done out there

I've grabbed a ticket for a matinee performance in October - I love that they have weekend matinees at 3pm as well as the nightly show. Cirque had a Sunday afternoon performance of MJ One a while back but that didn't catch on.

I'll be interested in how this one goes as a lot of the shows in October seem to have not sold a single ticket. I've grabbed a back row aisle seat for $49 (plus fees) as at this rate I'll probably be moved down to the front anyway.

If it isn't selling heavy, I'm hoping they add it to the Diamond list selection.
