last month or so, Mlife offers has been really stinky lately my usual hotel specific offers are gone ; still have corp offers (usual 3 nights with some $100 RC) but what happen to all my hotel specific offers? Rather I'm getting these stupid AARP &AAA offers etc. last two trips this year I played at MGM Grand and MB; when I call them (VIP services) they have no problem offering me suites but haven't received offers? Is it just me? Or others not getting any loving from mlife hotel specific?

If I log into the main MLife site, I have a Corporate Offer. If I log into individual hotels' websites, they show me the Corporate Offer for that hotel only.

The last true separate property-specific offer I received was in the winter from, from MGM Grand. It had a book by date of March 15th and a stay by date of August 15th. At that time, it showed up on both the main MLife site and the MGM Grand site.

I stayed at Luxor in January and haven't received a property-specific offer from them.

I have gotten a couple of emails in April and May from NYNY for a slot tourney and it included a comp room.

With MLife, you never know, maybe they're done with property-specific offers, or maybe they'll come back.

I tend to believe Mlife is dropping off the property-specific offers.
In this way, they can eliminate those marketing teams at each properties and save a lot of money.
They are already doing similar things with hotel supplies etc.
I remember Jim Murren talked about such things before. The two words are "common" and "save".

What is the difference between a corporate offer and specific offer? How can one tell?

When I log in to Mlife I have "multiple resorts" and then I can see that almost all are 2 free nights $50 resort credit. (Bellagio, Aria, and Delano list "exclusive rates").

When I go to luxor.com I see the same offer for Luxor.

I get some emails from Monte Carlo offering free concerts (the last one was Kenny Rogers) and 2 night comp. Is that one a Monte Carlo specific?

MLIFE has tightened up on offers hard core this summer. I have not changed my level of play w/ them one bit over a course of a couple years and always had really good offers.. This summer.... Really Nothing Good and of course absolutely no property specific offers. Just that same BS described above AARP or AAA rate... Because of this, I have been spending more time at CET properties and have already hit Diamond Aspirations Level 1 for the first time. Just shows that Mlife has lost about 15K year to date from me by not giving me $800 in free room/food comps. It absolutely shows that their new strategy of tightening offers/comps to loyal gaming clientele while attracting non gaming clientele for shows and full price rooms is in full affect and thus is the reason why gaming revue is being reduced while entertainment and hotel revue is being increased at their Vegas properties.

We have a property-specific offer at Aria, but this time we also MIGHT have received a property-specific offer at Bellagio, where they also mail you the offer with the little Bellagio players magazine.

BUT my Bellagio offer had no offer code, which worried me. (Especially since I've never had a Bellagio direct offer, even though we've stayed there before, and especially since I've never had an offer without a code.)

When I called Bellagio and booked, I asked the guy if this was a direct offer, or a duplicate of my corprate offer. He said I had no direct offers at Bellagio.

Since we are using our Corp offer at MB, I thanked him and tried to get off, saying I was going to book the Aria Direct offer so that I could use both RC/FP and he assured me that I can, that mlife is just switching to no direct offers, but you can use them independently. (Still not totally buying this, but we'll see if I can use both FP/RC components.)

I know my Aria offer is property-specific, as it has a different code than my corporate Aria offer. Same goes with MC, different code for the MC direct offer, and a different code for the corporate offer for MC, but Bellagio might be the same corporate offer with different lipstick.

I did book Bellagio, but I'm still leery if I'll be able to access my FP/RC at MB, as I'm still not 100% my Bellagio offer isn't just the same corporate offer with different packaging. (Though it does say "your Bellagio offer"). I know for now my Aria offer is direct, it just sounds like MLIFE might be in the process of doing away with direct offers, as many of you have been thinking.

It is interesting though that, despite possibly merging to corporate only, when I contacted mlife directly, asking if the two offers I booked were independent of each other, and asking if I could access FP/RC at both, they said they "didn't have access to my offers" ( that show up on the MLIFE site?!) and sent me the below email.

So, I guess we'll find out when we check into MB this trip if I booked a direct offer at Bellagio, or the corporate offer with different marketing make-up! :)

And don't worry Drew, it's not just you, I have 10000 AARP "offers" too!

The offer codes would be different, and the terms (usually mostly the amount of freeplay and resort credit, but sometimes the room type also) would usually (but not always) be different. Property-specific offers were usually a little better than the corporate one for the same property.

Yes, that's what I was describing earlier.

Yes, but it doesn't fall under the category of what people traditionally (or at least the last few years) think of as an "MLife offer", which would normally also include some amount of freeplay and resort credit, and be available for a seasonal period. Whereas the one you have from Monte Carlo is property-specific but also event-specific.

Very interesting. Hopefully someone will talk to a host at some point and try to get the complete picture on all this.

Wait no more direct offers!?!?!? Seriously??? I knew it.... damn mlife sucks it's getting worse year by year and day by day... even tho, when I contact the hotel and able to get comp room...it will nice to see their direct offers so I know I can take those offers when I need it instead of having to call and ask for it.

If it was a direct offer, it would show up separately then the corporate offer. I have an offer called M Life Rewards gaming offer, which is my corporate offer - which includes Bellagio, then I have one that looks like the picture below. It doesn't have an offer code, but it does have different expiration dates.

    upload_2017-7-2_17-18-20.png

I don't get any direct offers except for Bellagio anymore. It's weird because I have Aria hosts regularly e-mailing me, but I don't get a marketing offer. I get offers for tournaments - but not marketing offers.

I used an MGM Grand offer last fall - just for one night, but dropped a bundle. No offers from them after that. I don't get it.

My take is Bellagio & Aria are still in the process of getting ride of direct offers. They are always the last to change which is understandable.

We got direct offers from Excalibur and Luxor. Both offering two free nights plus FP and RC. Wonder if we can use both.

HI Josie! You are the Bellagio queen to me, so this is great feedback. Yes, I had that offer/icon (with the blue cathedarl-like ceiling, whatever it is) right next to my corporate offer on both my mlife and bellagio page, which is why I thought it was worth the risk booking it. (And it too had a different experiation date.)

And that's odd you're not getting Aria direct offers...you hear a LOT of people experiencing changes in their direct offers.

Well all just have to wait and see how it unfolds, but if YOUR Bellagio offer had no code, I feel much better, as I know it's your home base. Everything else lined up, two icon offers, different dates, different titles, even had the mailer, the lack of code was the kicker, so now I feel better...thank you!

Don't know if it lines up with your experience, but I stopped getting direct offers from Aria last summer, after I hadn't stayed there for a year.

I guess I just don't get it. Not so much with Aria, but certainly with MGM Grand. I lost just as much at MGM last year during a one day stay as I did at Bellagio over 2 nights, and I get NO offers now from MGM Grand. If you gamble enough to have hosts e-mailing you - and you get offers for tournaments - why no marketing offers? I guess they all just want you to go through a host. I would much rather book a marketing offer then deal with a host. Mostly I find that hosts don't do anything more for me than book a marketing offer.

My host at Cosmo e-mailed me the other day. She offered me....... my marketing offer! So what's the point of having a host.

Yeah...MLife has changed everything. It really sucks. I cannot remember the last time Ive been to Vegas and have not received 2-3 free nights at multiple resorts. Now, maybe one night and "lower rates" at best. After speaking to someone at M Life it appears as if this new way is here to stay. I hate the thought of trying anything other than an M Life property after staying at one for over 20 years but I guess I have to at least think about it now.

Very informative thread! I am new to the comps (last 2 years) and am a low roller. Initially was getting 3 day offers at Monte Carlo booked 2 times. They have dwindled to 1 night stays and a random 2 night stay at Luxor has been the best I get but want to stay at a new to me hotel/casino. Nothing ever from NYNY and want to stay there. Reading this I learned you can log into the Hotel Specific site (I always log into Mlife). I log into NYNY specific site and have a 1 night stay and discount for the next day in Sept, Nov, and Dec. This offer is nowhere on Mlife. So check the Hotel Specific Sites, seems they have more/better offers vs Mlife site. I might just book it as I have been waiting for a NYNY offer.
