Got an email this morning from Monte Carlo that they are debuting two new room types, "Park MGM Rooms", available June 30th, 2017.

    Park King - DPRK

The Park King offers an inviting open floor plan of 406 square feet of space ideal for gathering. Original artwork inspirationally placed around the room along with comfortable window seating and custom-designed furnishings create a residential feel. The king-sized bed tucked into a cozy alcove faces the window and overlooks Vegas sites. Luxury bed linens, a 50” LED TV and plenty of media outlets make travel easy. Fresh bathrooms offer a spacious walk-in shower and bright, modern fixtures.

Nice! I booked a run of the house room for July 16 - 21. Wonder if I'll get lucky and get one of these?

Is free ParKing included with the Park King?

You could certainly ask for an upgrade to one at check-in. Let us know if you have success getting one.

Am I the only one that thinks that Green is atrocious?
I do not like the interior decorations and I generally like to like things.
    I feel let down already.

If you didn't tell me that this was Monte Carlo's new rooms I would have thought this was an old picture. The decor and furnishings look very old fashioned to me. I'm pretty sure I saw that table and chair in a Sherlock Holmes movie. :hmmm:

Those rooms look absolutely hideous. Holy cow. I guess I'm not the target customer but what millennial wants to go sleep in a room that looks like was inspired by your dead grandma's home?

How does MGM go from the spectacular job they did on Aria to this?

Yuck. Looks like a room my late grandmother had at her nursing home.

I like it. I'm not a fan of the current "white out" design, but these are pretty good. I know MGM will try to get top dollar once the whole resort is redone but I'm guessing the room rates will settle in a little below MGM Grand and Mandalay and I think that's okay with me considering the location

I wanna see these "fresh" bathrooms. I've always thought The MC was really a pretty resort, just a shitty location imo.

These new rooms look pretty awesome to me. I love the European direction they're taking with the Park MGM brand.

The table and chair look like something from 1975...I dont get the black, white, reds. then green and brown?!?!? Weird, and they shit the bed there imo. A cool sleek black table with a red chair of the same style would be perfect. Green and brown...Fucking fecal colors man.

I'm really glad they remodelled. Not crazy about the white bedding, although I should, because I'm always wondering how clean the bedding is. The art on the walls is kind of meh but no one looks at that. I really like the window seat in the red room - whoever came up with that deserves a bonus. I would be concerned the dark paint will chip quickly. Hopefully it won't. Walk-in showers - sounds like no tubs? Well hopefully the price is going to still be low-ish. Can't wait to see what they did in the pool area. Much faster than I thought it would be.

Ladies getaway, somewhere on the strip with a pool :)

I'm underwhelmed by the decor. And I have concerns about the apparent lack of blackout curtains as I'm a stay-up-til-dawn type of Vegas'er.

Does everyone remember what country is abbreviated as DPRK? :evillaugh: Silly Park MGM!

Room looks boring generally though. I'll take a falling apart Monte Carlo room for September instead please!

Ah, the audacious BS of marketing speak never fails to impress. How many people can you "gather" in 406 sq ft?

This is not the direction I thought Park would go at all. I like the "bed in an armoire" look on the King but everything else looks sparse and uninspired. That table/chair look like there should be quilted blankets draping off of them.

Don't know why but I expected more of a Delano-ish, light and airy kind of vibe. Won't be tripping over myself to book these unless the prices stay as low as they are now, and that's only AFTER construction is done. It is good to see they're making progress though. Old MC standard rooms were dreadful.

    Seriously, dude. Da fuck?

I don't hate it (though, it is a weak "upgrade"). But I also haven't seen the bathrooms.

This may be the worst so called make over ever. Looks like a bad 70s motel room. This is really disappointing for a Vegas room...
