Curious what the cost has been to go from the airport to Sam's Town or Eastside Cannery. And, has it been difficult to summon ride sharing services out to these more outlying casinos? Might be staying out that way for a few days and didn't want to pay the ridiculous cab fare to get there.

Lyft estimates that ride will cost between $11 and $20

Not at all, Uber and Lyft drivers are available everywhere.

I live in the far SW of the valley. Used both companies multiple times to head out on the town, never once had to wait more than 7 or 8 minutes. And I'm in the boonies. I just did a quick check, presently there are 4 uber vehicles within 7 minutes of Sam's Town.

I've dropped off passengers as far S/W as Ft Apache and Cactus. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I dropped them off I got another ride request from that area back to the Strip.

This ride share system works great for both drivers and riders.

We really like it if we know we are going to have a couple or more drinks...also getting to and from the airport, it's more than excellent. We are directly across Rhodes Ranch on the Fort Apache side. I see lots of ride share in and out of the neighborhood, our neighbor drives also.

One of the good things with these apps - you can get a ride cost right on your phone. Just put in the start and end and BINGO - they give you the price. Works even if you are sitting across the country.

Also if you should get a message stating that fares are higher due to increased demand, check again later. That means the area you are picking up from has a surge rate in effect. It surged a lot this weekend because of the EDC event that was in town.
