Hey guys. Arriving to Vegas alone Tuesday July 11 around 6 pm PST. I will be alone Tuesday night for dinner and Wednesday night and then my friends arrive Thursday evening.

What are some good places to go eat at alone? I don't mind dressing up a little for s good meal. I would like to stay in the range of $50-70 for a dinner.

    Thanks!

Will you be on the strip? Wolfgang Puck and Todd English's PUB at Crystals, Javier's at Aria...lots of the restaurants at Aria are great for solo diners, The Henry at Cosmo...just to name a couple!

Most everywhere, really. I've eaten scores of solo meals in Vegas, from basic to seven-course extravagances. I'd just let your wallet and preferred tastes guide you and not even think about the solo part.

If you don't like sitting at a table alone, find a restaurant that has dining at the bar. Many of them do. I've eaten at the bar at Mon Ami Gabi and the steakhouse at Excalibur. I've always had great service dining at the bar.

Javier's at the bar is a great suggestion. I have received EXCELLENT service dining there solo. The drinks are very strong and great.

With 4/6 of my trips being solo, I can't say I've ever had a uniquely difficult experience dining anywhere in Vegas. My highest recommendation goes out to the Market Street Cafe at the California, downtown. There's a diner-bar-style area up front that is essentially designed for solo customers. Highly recommended, and I don't think you could spend more than $20 there even if you tried.

Nowadays half or more of the people in restaurants are looking at their phones even when with people. They may as well be dining alone.

Spot on. Even after dozens of solo meals in restaurants for work, I still don't feel comfortable so I much prefer eating at the bar.

If you're of the same opinion, the next question is cuisine. There are so many places that cater for the solo diner but if you're after pub style food, I found Tom's Urban at NYNY great.

I agree with sitting at the bar, and just let your taste and wallet lead you to the restaurant. I have found that bartenders in Vegas are very nice to solo diners.

I'll second this, and add the bar at Julian Serrano at Aria.

I have been sitting at camelot (excalibur) a lot, both at the bar and a table, it does not bother me if other people find that weird.

Most of my trips are solo and in the past couple of years some of my favorites, sitting at the bar: Julian Serrano Tapas at Aria, Todd English P.U.B. as someone else mentioned and my favorite because of the food plus the bartenders are fantastic is Carbone at Aria
