    My Trip Report

Hi all! I had a very profitable April trip again (maybe I should only go in April cause last Aug & Dec, not so much!). I still haven't improved on posting pictures but I just spent over 2 hours trying to get these attached from Paris and the preview looks like it finally worked1. I'll try and get the rest of the trip pictures tomorrow night.

Started 3 nights at Paris in a corner P Burgundy room, then 3 nights at the Golden Nugget Golden Tower and finished 2 nights at Rio Samba Suite.

At Paris the new bed was wonderful and the gray lounger was perfect to put the old tootsies up at the end of a day - very comfy.

The picture of the scrambled eggs at Paris was to show their house made English muffins - SO GOOD!! I don't know what kind of cheese they put on their eggs but also fantastic.

Solo trip so I got to play VP & table games to my hearts content, Thru the week I saw the Bronx Wanderers at Ballys - great music and very enjoyable show, Righteous Brothers at Harrahs, Love at the Mirage, KA at MGM - not my thing, Penn & Teller at Rio, Menopause the Musical (again) & tenors of Rock at Harrahs.

Just played & saw shows, April/May is always my detox after the 7 corporate year ends are done! Cooler weather for this week but I enjoyed it coming from Missouri.

I started art with a $100 bill then pull the ticket when I get to an even multiple - if it gets eaten up, I run! This trip was LOTS of tickets to cash!!!!!

At VP I couldn't get anything on $1 nor quarters but when I started playing 50 cents - well, you will see....

How the hell do you win so often? How many hands per hour are you playing?

    Thanks everyone.

Tuck - these were from 3 solid days of play at Paris, Ballys & Planet Hollywood about 7-8 hours EACH day, so probably a small percentage of all the hands because I play fairly quick. I was just zoning out and listening to music - then I'd get up and wiggle to another machine. I usually start around 7-8 AM so fairly empty casinos. I also switch around games a lot because I get bored. Remember, we are talking tax season detox - just getting lost although I should be sick of numbers! Seems like in the morning the music is far more enjoyable for me - 60s & 70s, so I don't even realize the time spent.

Most trips I usually just play VP & slots to use my freeplay while waiting on the tables to open - I ove Crazy 4 & UTH but they don't seem to open until 11-12:00 at Paris. But this trip the VP was so good I stayed with it most of the days. Didn't play much at the tables until I moved downtown.

    Some pretty nice hits here!

The two royals of course, congrats! The straight flush and wild royal drawing 2! Four deuces from just holding one!

And the Joker redraw with Quad Aces! Do you remember which casino that was? Because in your pics Joker switched between two paytables unlike the other games. You hit the quint on the crappier payable (95.46% vs. 96.38%). Curious to see which CET casino was the bigger asshole. Lol. Also glad to see some 6/5 Super DDB action in there (CET's best variant at 97.69%).

Glad you had a great trip! I need to get back to Hollywood soon myself. I have gone almost six months without playing on my card! [emoji5]

Thanks Mark & Trig (love reading your reports & stories too!)

Both royals were on the same machine at Paris almost exactly 24 hours apart - did not hold true the 3rd day, I tried

The joker 5 aces was either at Paris or Ballys (my phone lumps them together). The other joker game was at PH on the circle around the escalator going to the buffet.

It always amazes me how well you (and so many others) know the games and % - I've always been more of the carnival game player but will definitely be practicing more at home after the last few VP trips. I just play what seems right which probably drives the real players insane.

I had a few more good hits at the GN & Rio but had a funeral today & just got home. I'll try & get those posted after work tomorrow.

Good to see another Missourian - I'm east KCMO area

I finally got the pictures to post from the Golden Nugget and Rio.
I was also able to split my 2 free Diamond show tickets into 1 each for different shows if that helps any other solo travelers, you don't have to use both on the same show.

    Good luck to everyone!

Amazing, now I am super psyched about my last minute trip next week. Also thanks for the diamond info, I was going to try and get one ticket to two shows while there.

You're welcome Kathie. I was at the Paris box off and asked the clerk (at the gift shop under the tower, too early for main box office) and he said no problem. Asked which shows, which days and he printed them even though both shows were at Harrahs. Make sure you go to total rewards first to get the voucher for the box office.

    Have a great trip!

Wow. Great wins! I never play joker poker but may have to try it on the next trip.

I've seen 3 different versions of Joker Poker in Vegas. I only play Kings or better, but I've also seen Aces or better and Two Pair or better.

I enjoy it, in April of 2016 I hit a royal on it at Paris and then later that week at the Golden Nugget:woohoo:

I play for fun on freevideopoker.com. It has a couple versions I've never seen live.

I agree that Tring is much better at VP than I'd ever dream of being:nworthy:

Good luck, I just enjoy it.
