I've never taken a solo trip so it's always been my wife and I. Recently got an offer for the Beau Rivage in Biloxi for room, $150 in food credit and $700 in FP and she can't go. Thinking about going for a few nights alone but not sure if it would feel weird or if I'd get bored.....thoughts from some of you that go solo all the time?

I go solo all the time! I am not married, so it could be different for those that are married, but for me going solo is nice and relaxing, you are not on any kind of schedule, it is nice to do what you want when you want to...

Vegas is great for riding solo, so much to do and see.. Biloxi I'm not sure how fun that would be as your options are somewhat limited.

You could go shark fishing for a few hours whilst drinking ice cold brews.

I'm thinking it could be a fun break.....especially since I'm only talking 3 nights max.

i have been solo in Vegas and Biloxi. There aren't as many easy options to leave the hotel in Biloxi but you do have the water so walking down the beach is an option. Hard rock is an easy diversion and they have the casino hopper bus. Oddly enough I usually stay put when I'm solo. I'm odd in that I think if I don't come back nobody will know I'm missing. I know it makes no sense but neither do I. I've always enjoyed their spa. I'm not a pool person but my friends enjoy it there because of the view. Most people in casinos are very friendly and talkative if you get lonely.

The worst that can happen is you get bored and don't do it again. Well, maybe the worst is you love it and try to find times when you wife is busy so you can go again.

agree with @93 Octane, Vegas is OK for solo trip, but Biloxi is different.
solo people there are those doing day trip.
I would be super bored if staying there 2 nights.

I have done many junkets to the Beau solo. Then I like to walk down to Harrah's and Golden Nugget or take the Hopper there and elsewhere.. I never get bored and talk to many people while playing. When my wife goes we usually drive as we meet friends nearby and do some shopping in Ocean Springs.

I LOVE solo.....several times to Indiana riverboats & once to LV. The freedom from another persons want-to-do list or waiting on others to arrive that are never on time.....so relaxing & refreshing. I am married but hubby doesn't always want to go as much as I do OR he would rather spend his allotted gambling budget on a new bass guitar....lol
