Hello! I am comped at Paris in a Red Room with two queens and received an email allowing me to upgrade to a Burgundy Room. The fee is nominal. Are the Burgundy rooms much better? Would you do it or stay put?

Thanks! I decided to go for it earlier in the afternoon. It looks like they're nicely renovated.

That one room with the doubles windows looks like a P room though, where it's a corner. I don't think all Burgundy rooms have the double windows, and some red rooms do as well. The power is in the P!

I could be wrong as I haven't stayed at Paris yet, but have been considering it for a future trip, and have been geeking out on comparing rooms myself. You might ask about a P room (or whatever it's called) when checking in, for either room. I'd certainly love two windows to one!!!!

Actually the pics look like one of the smaller suites. Jetted tub, seating area and table and chairs. I've had the P corner room, and it did not have that much going on like the pics do. That aside, I would have gone for Burgundy from Red.

I agree with Maxbet. Seems like the pics are the Charlemagne Suite on Paris website which is 1000 sq. foot suite.

Thanks for all of the info, everyone! It seems like the Red Rooms have gotten a little shabby, so I'm hopeful that the Burgundy will be more my speed.
