One of my favorites back then. I was a Batman Fan and bought every comic known to man and alien. Never missed an episode, whether new or re-run.

Actually wasn't much of an Adam West Fan but because the studios chose him I accepted it and loved him as Batman even though I wish there were abs and more muscle as he ran around.

But his voice was exactly how I envisioned Batman's to be.

    RIP.

I was at the teen age years, when a "campy" Batman was not "hip".
    ( I can't explain this any further )

Makes me sad. He was the only Batman for me.

Glad he lived long enough to enjoy some of the nostalgic fun of recent years regarding his 3-year TV show.

Of course there's been a casino slot machine for a few years.

I've noted before, I think, that there's a pinball machine based upon the TV show. Stern, the manufacturer, took the design of a machine from about a decade ago, based upon the Bale movies/characters, and redesigned it for the TV show. From the art to the toys in the machine, it's the same game with a nostalic look, although they incorporated a small monitor in the back glass instead of a digital scoring display, so you get clips of the TV show interjected into the game play. Super awesome looking. That rolled out last year. West attended a big pinball convention in Chicago in conjunction with it.

For a few years DC has had a "Batman '66" comic book series. Besides a monthy series done in the style of the TV show, there have been other limited series bringing Batman '66 together with other classis shows, such as the Green Hornet. (The two programs did cross universes during a cameo on Batman back in the day.)

And a few years ago there was a new, animated home video Batman movie featuring West and Burt Ward voicing the dynamic duo.

I'm not a fan of cats, but I would not have kicked either of these felines off my lap. Halle Berry or Julie Newman.....here, kitty, kitty......

Sad to hear of Mr. West's passing.
He was a very talented and iconic actor.

He'll always be my favorite actor to have a cardinal direction as a last name.

(Peter North is second. I don't have to explain why. You could say his work "stands" for itself!)
