I'm guessing that many of you guys also got the junket for 4 nights/ airfare etc. It has left me thinking it might be fun to check it out.

I've never been to that area and was wondering what thoughts/ opinions you all may have. It could be anything from casino to hotel to sight seeing, really anything you might want to share.

Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Have a great day and thanks!

We go there pretty regularly and love the place. We usually rent a car for a few days (at Enterprise on Auto Mall Pkwy. It's cheaper than the Enterprise at the Beau-they will pick you up at Hard Rock next door). The buffet is pretty good. Mary Mahoney's restaurant is within walking distance and is a GREAT restaurant for seafood.

There is a schooner trip you can take which is fun. Just down the street there are shrimp boat tours which are very informative. We've taken the boat to Ship Island where you can sit on the beach for a few hours or just wander around the fort. There are plenty of plantation tours and swamp tours (take insect repellent if you go)..If you rent a car you can go to the National Seashore Park in Ocean Springs if it's not too hot (again-insect repellent) or just wander around Ocean Springs which is a cut little town with lots of nice shops and restaurants.

There is a casino hopper bus that goes along the "strip" if you want to visit other casinos and the bus station is across the street and up the road if you want to go to the outlet mall or even to NOLA for the day.

The Beau is a beautiful property with nice rooms (see if you can get a gulf view room), the pool is very nice and the people are great. We get two free breakfast/lunch buffets /month so ask about that at the card center.

Have a great time as we always do.

It is a great trip. We are leaving on a junket on Thursday. Our trips are usually 3 night trips, the flyer we just got for August was for a 4 night trip.

We don't do a lot besides gambling but as NandJfromNJ said there are a lot of beach ,fishing, sailing things you can do. If you never been to New Orleans spend a day there it's it's a 90 minute drive.

Prime,Jia and Stalla are good restaurants at the Beau. I agree with Mary Mahoneys.
The Halfshell Oyster House is very good. They have one in the Hard Rock, I prefer the one across the street from the Hard Rock. Tarantos Crawfish is good as well if you has car.

I like gambling at the Beau and IP the best. The hard rock and Golden Nugget are nice as well. The Harrahs is nice but small. The Scarlet Pearl is new only about 18 months old and very nice. But there are 4 or more others that people go as well

It's a great trip you ought to take once and I think if you do you will like it it's a first class trip.

I got this offer in my email today and it made me wonder if it was worth checking out. Few questions.

Are there any bank of americas Down there?

Do you have problems if you aren't white?

I would have problems if I wasn't white, but that's just because I'm supposed to be. It would freak me out a little at first I think.

But seriously, it always makes me sad when I see this question because it's sad that in this day and age people still worry about it. It's a shame we aren't better by now. To answer your question though, I wouldn't think it would be an issue. I can't recall thinking about it specifically, but I don't think Biloxi is a particularly "white" area but maybe I'm misremembering.

Also, I'd like to add my suggestion to hit up the Boomtown buffet on Dungenous crab night. There are few things I love in Biloxi more than absolutely gorging myself on delicious Dungenous crab!
