We'll be staying at Mandalay Bay for the first time soon. Some resorts have a separate room or line for invited guests/vip. We are platinum members. Should we check in at the front desk or somewhere else upon arrival? Thanks.
They have a Gold/Platinum line, its at the end of the "poor people" check in to your right I think. No separate room for it, just signage
As you face the. main check-in area, it's a separate, but attached check in to the left and the side. you go past the self check - in area.
The do have a separate room for "vip". That is a designation in your reservation that is assigned by your host. It is based on level of play and not tier.
Yeah, that's not at all what the OP is looking for. If he had access to the VIP room, he would already know about it
That's not necessarily true, we had no idea we had VIP room check in/access at Delano till we went to check in and the invited guest desk attendant told us we did, my host never mentioned it and I did not notice it on the reservation till after the invited desk told me. That is of course IF one has a host.
I am thinking a small amount of folks do not know they have VIP access when they do. And, a large amount of folks thing they do when they do not. (entry level comps, discounts, lower level tiers, etc) There are at least three levels of checkin, and then more. 1 - Basic person. Paying usually. Maybe a small discount. 2 - Invited guest. Sort of a VIP, but not really. 3- VIP designate. 4 - Super VIP - they get wisked to their room and get it handled there. Then there are all those 3rd party bookings that tell the customer they are going to get special treatment..... NOT!
After i win the powerball tomorrow i will let all you peasants know what it feels like to be super VIP and to get wisked away.
