I love to chat - have a conversation about anything and everything vegas.

Is there or has there ever been a VMB chat room?

Should we start one on Slack or something? Would anyone join?

I don't want to take away from the message board; but sometimes just zoning out in front of the laptop and talking to people passes the time.

I would. But, I'm working tonight. So, I'd be in and out. But, yeah. I'd be in.

We had a few different versions hosted on the board over the years, but due to lack of use near the end, buginess of the software, it didn't make the move to the current board software when it was updated.

Not saying it would not work, but here are the big issues.

1 - Folks need to be online at the right time.

2 - They have to pay attention and stay alert vs multi tasking or walking away.

3 - Topics of interest have to interest those signed in. And we really, really have a wide range of topics here.

An old message board used to have a chatroom, it was so much fun. It was like a cocktail party - topics wove their way everywhere!

It helps to also have one or two regularly scheduled times i.e. every _____ at 7:00 pm.

I remember it also..I did like ICQ..had an early number like 848843 under a million.Tried to log on years ago but forget password and email account long gone..
My Fantasy football group would get together and trash talk and WinNuke each other..(Some hole in WIN95 that with the user's IP address you could blue screen his pc and he would have to reboot.)
