I don't know whether to love you or hate you for those food pics (as I sit w/plain coffee w/splash of almond milk and a green smoothie). Had no interest in NFI until that shot of those Irish Nachos. Dear God...

My stepson has threatened to block me until I get home because I keep sending him pictures of all our meals! He said he's coming with us next trip.

Nothing wrong with a cup of coffee, but I don't think I could do the green smoothie!

After lunch yesterday, I hung around Caesar's and played some quarters WoF and played on $40 for nearly 2 hours. I probably cycled $1000 coin-in through the machine. I had one great win (750 credits - $191.50) and one decent win ($52.50).

So dinner last night was at Morel's (in Palazzo lobby). Being a company sponsored event, I decided not to photograph the food.

It was a pre-fixe menu of Butternut squash soup, Caesar salad, Filet with one asparagus, one carrot, and a square of some potato gratin, with creme brulee for dessert. It didn't make me want to run back for another meal, but I left with a full belly.

Afterwards, we went to Surrender at Encore for another event. DJ and open bar. Enough said!

On our way out, we passed a girl who left NOTHING to be desired. Now, don't get me wrong, if anyone in this town could pull it off, it was her, but it was ALL hanging out. No bra, no undies. Just a slip-thin, extra low cut dress with sides slit up to her waist. My poor husband never even saw her.

We had fun and there was some fantastic people watching. The event ended at midnight, so we headed back to the room and called it a night.

Breakfast this morning was at Morel's. I had already made reservations prior to knowing about the dinner.

And I've discovered snapchat. I'm still trying to figure out how it works, but I have figured out the filters... Kind of cheesy that they'd have conference filters, but whatever.

Now it's pool time. Well, technically, I've been at the pool since just after breakfast, but finally got sun. These insanely tall buildings block the sunlight until nearly noon.

Not sure what the rest of the day holds. I know we got an invite to The Dorsey (formerly known as The Whiskey Bar) then a couple hours of night time TopGolf action.

Palazzo is where I always stay. I love it there. Go to Fusion Bar and have Wendy or any of the girl bartenders make you a Key Lime Pie! So freaking good. Just put a $10 in video poker machine and you don't have to even play. They will comp it. My favorite drink in Vegas. Chica recently opened there and everyone that has been so far has loved the food ( Latin) and decor is fabulous. If you want a great snack to take to your room at night just stop at the Grand Luxe bakery to go area and order a box of fresh baked cookies and a glass of milk to go. It takes about 20 minutes but it's such a nice treat before bed to have warm chocolate chip cookies with nuts and a glass of ice cold milk. I sleep so good after eating them in my bed! lol Breakfast you absolutely have to go to Bouchon! Fabulous and you won't regret it! Good luck and great report!

Where's the stalker pic?? Jk. Great stuff!

Every bartender on the strip has forced me to put in at least $20 if I want a comped drink. Wendy "knows" you. Hell even Stan at TAG made sure I bought in for $20 last trip with my abundance of $5s i was trying to ditch. Lol

Also I would expect them to wait until one played enough for the light to turn green if they don't know you. Lol

I don't even put money in half the time and never have they not comped a drink there when I sit down. Lol Maybe I just have the "charity" face? Bwahaha!

Stopped by the little Bouchon bakery under the escalators by Grand Luxe and picked up a chocolate almond croissant yesterday for a snack. Absolutely delicious!

I was so dumbfounded, I didn't even think to take a picture. I've seen all kinds of stuff in Vegas, but she was a special sight.

Time to catch up on my report...

I sat by/in the pool a little too long and my skin hates me now. I guess 6 hours was a little much.

Pool drink... Limonada $17 + tax = too expensive, but one of the vendor staff saw me and paid for mine, making the server bring my cash back to me. Free? Yes, please!

After my pool lounging, it was time to get cleaned up and head out for The Dorsey. While waiting for the rest of our crew, I hit the penny slots.

My very first spin resulted in the bonus round. I love playing this game!

The Dorsey is a cool concept with bizarre signature cocktails. I got a "Jungle Bird" which was rum, pineapple, campari and something else. I'm glad I didn't pay for it ($20). Wasn't bad, wasn't great.

I really think they should have a pole in that cage. Nothing says Vegas like a good pole dance.

Headed to TopGolf after that and our group had 2 bays for 2 hours, unlimited drinks and a nice spread of food. With all the hangry housewives, I didn't get a chance to snap any photos of the food, but it was all yummy. We had some sort of shrimp. It was similar to Bang Bang Shrimp at Bonefish Grill, but better IMO. Also had a BBQ platter with pulled pork and some (very) hot sausage, spicy Cole slaw, pickle wedges, and what looked to be pickled veggies. Also had a kabob platter with Greek chicken, Teriyaki Beef, and some sort of Mexican style pork. It was served with corn tortillas, salsa, Lime wedges, and something similar to naan. The food was surprisingly good, other than the spice.

Again, TopGolf didn't disappoint. I was terrible. I'll just blame it on the Jungle Bird and two margaritas.

I swear I always look stoned in selfies.

My honey takes his golf seriously. Elbow brace and his golf glove. I think he's the only tech head I know with callouses on the hands.

Here's a shot of our whole group after we played...

Bed time! All these elderly people (42, 52, and 53 years old) we're here with were tired and ready to uber back to the hotel. I was ready for the Fremont freak show, but the 3 who wanted to go got out voted by the 6 that didn't.

Early wake up for a group breakfast at Grand Luxe (Venetian side) and I had chicken and waffles.

So. Much. Food. Next up, solo gambling.

Took a short walk up to Casino Royale because there's just something about that dump I love. Maybe my inner white trash feels at home there?

Y'all, I WON! I actually won enough to say I had a really good win - on the strip!

    Teaser baby win...

    Spin that wheel...

OMG. I'm still excited. I'm down for the trip, but that makes my negative balance much, much smaller! $500!!!! I originally fed it $100, so that's a net of $450ish.

Quickly cashed out and headed back to Palazzo - to feed the machines there.

Wandered and took some tourist photographs, because I guess I don't have enough from the other 8 trips...

A nun. In Vegas. A real nun. Funny story - A lady with our group was wandering Fremont Street and came upon Bible beaters (no offense, but you know who I'm talking about - the ones yelling with the signs) and just after she passed them, she saw two nuns walking ahead of her. She thought she'd seen it all at this point, but then they turned around...

And their habits were cut out just BELOW the breasts. Just pasties to cover the nipples. That's when she really know she'd seen it all. Too bad she didn't take pictures. We're heading to Fremont tonight, so if I see them, I'll be sure to get a pic.

    More tourists photos...

I'm not impressed with the latest "installation" (above) at Palazzo.

I had a good, long run on the WoF $0.25s.

The machines finally took back everything I had won, so it was time to wander and find a bite to eat. I stopped by Alex and Ani in St. Mark's Square and got a little souvenir.

And finally, lunch at Grimaldi's. I'd eat here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Tonight is our last night in town, so we're going to visit Fremont Street and maybe ride the gondolas just to say we've done it. At $29pp, I'm not sure it's worth it.

This is so much fun to read (I'm on a conference call at work and completely only grunting in appropriate places every few minutes while I read this lol). So what's the verdict on The Dorsey? Worth a visit or only if you're in the area of V/P?

Don't forget to stop at Fusion Bar and have Wendy make you a drink! You can tell her flavors you like and she will create a custom cocktail. She's the best bartender I've ever had. Key lime Pie martini there too!!! ;) You won't regret it!

Loving this report! All the food pictures have me drooling, and I can never get enough of the tourist shots. I must have ten of the same shots from every trip, but I still take more every time I go.

I noticed this too when we were there in May. I thought maybe it was a fluke and we got the old room with bad pillows. Glad to know I wasn't just imagining it.
    Can't wait for more pictures!!!!
