A little wrap up of yesterday.

After the coupon run, we checked into The D room on 22nd floor. Lounged for about an hour, then played some more sigma Derby and started to build up some drinks in us. My little method did not work, so there went a big $10. Played some at Vue Bar but no quads and lost another $10 after about 45 minutes. Not bad.

Made a quick bet on the Cavs to cover at Golden Nugget which didn't win. Then we played some blackjack at Golden Gate. The one shoe we played had a very positive count about 4.5 decks through. Upped from $5 to two hands of $20. Not enough of a bet spread to really have an advantage, but I turned $100 into $150. I sat out the last deck or so in the 8-deck shoe. I also find it funny that when you tell the dealer and pit boss that you are counting cards, they just laugh and don't watch you at all.

We walked over to El Cortez in search of $3 craps. I wish we found it, as we got raped at $5 craps. Barely making any side bets at all has us down $60-80 each in just several minutes. We played some VP at the bar afterwards and I won a little bit. That's when Dewey had the dealt 4-to a royal with the fifth card being the flush that some saw from the Snapchat. I won't tell you whether he held the flush or went for the royal or not.....

For dinner we walked back to MSS for BOGO buffet. Our server was excellent and pretty much gave us 3 glasses of whatever we wanted at once. I tried to eat light so I could keep my buzz going. I probably had 10 drinks in me at that point.

I failed. Went to Boars Head Bar after to watch NBA game. I could barely down the one Pale Ale I ordered. Hit 2 quads on JOB and two $2 scratch cards. Won $40 in an hours time. We decided going on two hours of sleep and as full as we were it was time to crash at 8pm. Thursday's plan involves a lot of walking and drinking in the evening. Then we get the text from Wade as Dewey and I are about to walk out the door at MSS. "Empty $5 craps table!"

3 point-7 outs later I lose what I win at VP. Time for friggin bed.

8 hours of sleep and we feel more than refreshed. Today we hit the strip for coupon run part 2. It involves, in order:

    Circus Circus
    Lucky Dragon (chip collection)
    SLS
Monorail to Linq/Shuttle to Gold Coast
    Palms
    Shuttle to Orleans
Shuttle to Linq/In n Out for lunch
    Monorail to MGM/walk to Hooters
    NYNY
    Mandalay Bay
    Monorail back to Flamingo

From there, start drinking at Stage Door, then end at Ellis Island for dinner. All 4 of us have a "3 free drinks for 2 people" coupon. My math says 6 free drinks a piece. Oh shit.

Day 2 begins!!! Cheers to all that are following along. I feel like we are off to a boring start. Hopefully tonight we can make stupid decisions.

Those dealt Aces are painful. One drawback of playing 9/6 Jacks.

Good luck on the coupon run today!

I knew the first response would be a comment by Tring on that hahaha!!! Yeah when I get ahead in JOB, I switch over to DDB for a bit. Haven't hit one on DDB except when I was playing nickels at DTG yesterday morning.

I had read that Lucky Dragon no longer offers free play for signing up. Three of us got $8 and Walter got $18 for signing up. Pretty empty but a pleasant vibe.

Wow it looks like it should be called the UNLucky Dragon. The employees look like they are trying to figure out where they are going to get their next job and bored to death. That place isn't gonna make it!

It's only 9:30 am on Friday. But it looked that way at 2:30pm on Friday when I went, so yeah, "it's not going make it" is probably right.

It's a higher end casino in the middle of a crappy neighborhood. Really makes no sense.

Should've hit up the food court and got an order of "meat" from the Dragon's Alley.

Just in case you're not joking. ;)

And crazy they already closed for renovations they say. Bad when you close something in year 1.
