I am platinum with Total Rewards. I achieved it by having a Visa card and spending over $10,000 on it. However, my tier score is only 653. So my question is - how many more tier credits do I need to get to Diamond? Is it 15,000 minus 653 - or 14,347? Or is it the difference between Platinum level (5,000) and Diamond level (15,000) - or 10,000?
Keep in mind the color of your card does not determine the offers you receive. It's all about your ADT.
You need to reach 15,000. No way around that. And, just a side note - all comps are based on play, not on tier level. And,I am guessing you do not gamble often with the 653 tier credits? How often are you at Casinos where you could make use of Diamond perks?
That's what I figured.... I am travelling with someone who is already over the 5000 platinum level....I think we will put all the play on his card
I play mostly at AC - usually the Borgatta. But we are heading to Vegas in July for 5 days at the Flamingo. If I can get to Diamond, it might change my AC habits.
Well, here's the thing. If you make Diamond it will get you access to the Diamond lounges in Las Vegas. However, Atlantic City Diamond Lounges are more restrictive. You have to have earned 25,000TC in the previous year or pay 1,000RCs each day you use the privilege (no cash accepted) From Seven Star Insider: "NOTE: There is a 10 comp dollar (1,000 Reward Credits) per person per admission charge for Diamond cardholders who did not earn a least 25,000 tier credits last year (January 1 through December 31) or have not earned at least 25,000 tier credits since January 1 this year."
What level are you at for Borgatta? CET in AC is doing a tier match. If you are I think "Black" (is that a level) you would get diamond. You might need to do it before June 7 though when it switches to Mlife. https://www.caesars.com/caesars-ac/casino/upgradetodiamond#.WS9V5YWcGUm
Has anyone done this with borgata black label? I am black label with borgata from being mlife gold. I would make a trip (less than an hour) to do this match if someone can verify.
yes but you can't have used the tr card in the last 6 months or year (i forget which) i'm also not sure if that means use it anywhere or just in ac
You'd have to be completely inactive for at least a year with TR. No Social Rewards, points from Caesars Casino on FaceSpace, nothing.
To the OP. There's a new Quest for rewards for vegas only. Earn 25 TC's in slots and 25 TC's in table games and you will get 5850 in tier credits. Can earn more bonus TC's with spend. Would put your friend pretty close. Wouldn't help you this trip as you get the bonus TC's in September after the Quest is over but he would have Diamond until end of next year. There is another thread on here that explains it.
Thanks. We are aware if it. I am not even going to try for diamond. We have a strategy where he will get at least 30 badges and get him to diamond. It invloves our slot golf tournament hitting all nine properties with craps or roulette along with it. We are staying at Flamingo, have a cabana for a day, a show and at least one good dinner.
So as to not start a new thread and this is about achieving diamond, I'll post it here. I'm sitting at 3700 tier credits with a trip next month. What BR would I need and the hours for slots and/or VP to make Diamond? If it's not close to what I'm bringing for my 2 day trip, I won't even bother but I thought with the new quest, maybe I'm in the ballpark. If you get all the fa,bling not ones it's what, another 5400 but I'm probably not going to Rio. So I'd be roughly with the bonus. Whats the best game/denim to get 8500 tier credits in two days.
Your math didn't work out. If you have 3700 and add 4800 (without RIO) then you would be at 8500. So would need 6500. To do it over 2 days you would have to have one over 2500 TC's which would give you the 5000 TC's bonus so that is all you would need to do. (Including the 50 TC's you need at each of the 8 properties you are going to). Or if you went RIO and got those other 600 TC's you would be at 9100. All this counting nothing on the entertainment side.(no food, even comped hotel would think at your level you still would pay resort fees) You said 2 days but the gaming day resets at 6 am so you probably have 3 gaming days. You could do 3 days at 1000 TC's and get the 1000 TC bonus for the 6000 you would need if you went to RIO. I believe it is $5 coin-in for 1 TC for slots and $10 for VP except for a full pay machine. Plus you will need to play enough table games to get your 25 TC's at each property (variance there can be large) There are more knowledgeable people than me on here that can figure out how much bankroll you need to get that.
Yeah, my numbers didn't add up, thanks for catching that. So I'd need 3 days of $5000 coin for the 6000 I'd need for diamond. What's that look like time wise on 25c and $1 VP? Slots? My trips are usually quick hit and run gambling (mostly tables) and sports bets so I'd have to change it up probably to slots and VP. We spend a lot of time drinking and walking around from place to place so if it's like 6-8 hours a day, it's not really feasible.
I just updated my Gold Total Rewards card to Diamond with my Black Borgata card today at Bally's Atlantic City. I definitely played at Ceasars properties in the last few months. It says Receive the following when upgraded: Tier Match through 1/31/18 Free Overnight Stay (Valid Sunday - Thursday) Inactive and Active Total Rewards members will also receive the Tier Match through 1/31/18
There is another thread here with "math" or something like that in the title. NOBODY can tell you what bankroll you will need. Sure, somebody can do the math calc and give you a number, but nobody knows the answer in real life. It all depends on how long you can make the bankroll last. Example: Player has $100 bankroll. Scenario A) He plays $5 a spin and goes 20 spins with zero wins. Scenario B) He hits $500 win after 15 spins. Goes another 15 spins and hits again, etc. He gets to play for a full day. Both are very possible.
