It just confirms that it's an absolutely "effed up" promotion that really doesn't apply to me.

Thank you for getting that information, Happygirl21. It just confirms that I will NOT modify my play during next week's trip, except to get 25TC at each of the 9 casinos just to "waste time". (Except for the Cromwell, where I'll just "spend" to get my 25TC. (I hate gambling there).

Thanks for all the answers. Does anyone know what restaurants count towards spend in that section?
    Thanks

Those will count as Slot/video not as Table games....same with blackjack found on a bartop or with a large buxom video screen dealer.

We will be there in August and might just do a quick 25 pt run on all of the hotels and may not. We should be at 150k by the second day we are there and are not going for any more unless if something unexpected happens. Agree with you @DaiLun 100%.......Rick

Anyone knows how to get a hotel stay badge if you get a comp room (can't get to the spend limits) ?

Yeah, this is like putting together furniture and the instruction manual is missing a page.

a few follow up questions for those in the know:
If i charge a meal to my room, and don't use comps will those charge count towards hotel spend or food/drink spend?
Will using RC toward room charges still count toward a badge? ( I doubt it) .
Since TC from hotel charges usually post a few days later....what date is associated with those TC - the check out date or the date they post to account (for purposes of hitting daily tier credit bonus)?

Not really. I use the app/Total Touch to track my credits. I check before I hop on the table and then a bit after I'm off. My local used to do the final post the next day but lately they've caught up to the CET props in AC and post almost as soon as you get clocked out. Even with bad ratings, on a $15 minimum table I can get 25 credits in at least less than an hour.

For someone who never plays table games besides poker, what is the best way to earn 25 TC at a table game with limited EV loss and variance?

I doesn't sound like you can "spend" to get a 25 TC badge. There is a badge for slots, and a badge for table games, 25 TC each, and a third badge for getting both. But spending only gets you an overall badge once you hit $100 per category.

    Bottom line is as follows:

    - 27 badges for gambling are easy
    - Easy to get 3 badges for food
    - possible to get 3 for shows
    - will get some for the hotel (depending on the number of stays)
    - shopping might be tough
    - spa and golf is difficult for those who don't do that

So let's look at this promotion another way. Lots of low rollers can get 5,000+ tier credits off of this promotion and they probably got a bunch from the prior one.

Does this mean the number of diamond players is going to jump through the roof? Will the lounges get too crowded? Will the free tickets be unavailable? Seems like they are hurting the bigger players by diluting the meaning of being Diamond.

I also emailed TR yesterday and got the EXACT same response(also from "Bernadette")as Happygirl did.

Since I think this is not only a pretty weak promotion, but also an amazingly poorly thought out and poorly executed promotion coming from one of the leading corporations in their field, I asked them some follow-up questions. And yes, I also wanted to mess with them a little:poke:. Here's my response to their response:

"Thank you for your prompt response. I still have a few questions:

Tables: What is the dollar amount needed to earn a Tier Credit at table games? There must be some simple formula for this since you are using credits earned at tables as a requirement for a badge, right.

Entertainment Badges: As I understand it, I have to spend a minimum of $100 in one transaction, a minimum of $250 in a second transaction and a minimum of $500 in a third transaction to get all 3 badges. That's $850. Will I earn all 3 badges if I spend $850 in a single transaction? Will I earn all 3 badges if I spend $850 in more than 3 transactions?

Golf: The rate for a round of golf during the majority of the promotion is as follows: Cascata-June 19 thru August 21, 2017-$195 Sunday thru Thursday and $245 Friday and Saturday. The rates for Rio Secco aren't even posted on the website, but appear to be less than Cascata. Going by the Cascata rates, how am I even expected to spend $250, let alone $500, playing golf? If I play with friends, they will pay for their own round so they can get their own credits. Please explain.

And what if I were to charge the required amounts to my room and they are comped off my bill at the end of my stay? What if I use Reward Credits to pay for the required amounts? Do I still earn the badges?

I also see that playing Poker is not eligible for any badges. Yet Quest For Rewards-Las Vegas takes place at the same time as the World Series Of Poker, when more poker players than any other time of the year are in Vegas. Don't you think that a large number of poker playing Total Rewards members will feel alienated and slighted that they can't participate in the promotion playing their game of choice?

I appreciate your time and look forward to your answers. Thank you."

I'm wondering if live Keno counts as table games.

Lots of unclear issues. No different than when they ran the 1st quarter promo.

Yeah, I got it. Oh well, I guess I can sit at the Britney machine and "grind out" 25TC.

The badges for spending are based on cumulative spending across all properties over all three months. You don't have to spend $500 (or even $100) in one place.

So to get food/hotel badges you need to spend 100 on each?

Better minds than mine can answer this, but if you can grasp strategy for Ultimate Texas Hold'em, unless you get completely hosed, you can easily grind out 25 TCs and have fun doing it. If you're not intimidated by the craps table you can do a decent buy-in, play the pass with odds and another bet, order a few drinks, take off a shooter or two, and get 25 TCs and potentially have a boatload of fun. Put the dealers on top (to "increase" your bet), or make a bet on the line for them backed with small odds, and you may get there quicker. May.

Sort of. The badges go $100, $250, and $500, but you don't need to spend all at once. It is tallied over the course of the promotion. So if you spend $50 this month and $450 next, you'll earn all three. Honestly, for all of that, I'd take a stab at DIAD and even if I miss I'd at least earn some RCs and maybe help my ADT. Even getting just 2500 credits in a day plus the daily bonus and the gaming badges gets you close to Diamond by the end of the promo.
