After the May 31,2017 mess of a one day offer of, earn a high amount of TC to earn a pittance of a bonus and the June 1, 2017 roll out of the Quest for Rewards: Las Vegas, without any definitive information on specifics on risk vs. reward, is CET in complete chaos in regards to it's Total Rewards program? Are the inmates running the asylum? Or is it amateur hour in the next episode "Who wants to be a casino exec?

As long as TR keeps comping me rooms despite playing next to nothing, they can be in as much chaos as they'd like.

I'm going to take 4 trips to Vegas in CET resorts this year totaling 16 nights and will pay for none of them.

No idea if there is Chaos....

but, some of their point bonus offers are a bit silly... picking up a few hundred tier points is worth ZERO to most people. The are only valuable if you are just short of reaching a level. Most folks hit the level and then more.

Let there be chaos. I checked the other day to try to plan our next trip and I was comped a suite for 5 nights at every hotel except for The Cromwell and Caesars.

Right or wrong my guess is these are at the margin overall

CET is all about milking the diamonds for their slot money.

CET is stronger now than it's been since 2007. It just came out of bankruptcy two weeks ago and is showing profits all across the board. They just applied for dozens of building permits and are set to begin renovating every last room they own in Las Vegas, and remodel many of the features at just about every property. This is what News 5 LV reported just last week.

I think I may have titled the thread wrong. It should have asked, Is Total Rewards in chaos?

I don't know if it is good news or bad news but this is pretty much par for the course.

I think if you look back at some of the newsletters on sevenstarsinsider.com as well as remember many of their past promotions TR is absolutely TERRIBLE at promoting themselves and running contests.

How many people won A LOT more than they were suppossed to a few years ago with that contest where you got spins or pressd a button (i forget)? I almost filled the entire board.

Typos are constant, misinformation rampant. And the casino promotion pages are almost always outdated.

When i put my wife as a companion at top...the screen always shows the end of an incorrect #. Probably becuase she had another account # at one point, but it's been Years and I use the number she gets on cards now...inevitibly if she tries to use comps they ALWAYS tell her she has none, and she ALWAYS has to go to TR desk to straighten it our.

Check the date on this link https://www.caesars.com/harrahs-philly/casino/harrah-s-philly-promotion/why-you-need-email#.WTGnS-srLcs it's 9 months outdated.

This is currently listed under their promotions for their "High Limit Experience" promo The Promotional Period commences at 2:00pm and concludes at 10:00pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016.

If it wasn't so funny, I'd be more outraged.

These are TIER credits not REWARD credits. To my knowledge you can't spend tier credits. Am I confused?

I may be confused too, but it seems to me that when that number gets up to the price of a beer, I can have a beer. :) :)

When the wsop is over I would have used about 55 free nights off of a few hundred in -ev video poker I played to get diamond.and I've already been able to rebook some weekends dirt cheap .for example this Friday and Saturday for about 30 dollars a night at Harrah's where I was already staying free the prior 5 days and 5 days after.

Whatever theyre doing I hope they keep it up.

Im in the same mind set as many others. I'm diamond from play 95% from craps and dont give a dang about TR. All I care about is getting free rooms w/ no resort fees & free parking literally anytime i want at any CET property nationwide.

There's no mention of the Quest on the Total Rewards front page. It's not on the promotions page. I never got an email...If it wan't for clicking on what should be a dead link, or a message board..how would anyone know about this?

Does anyone think this is effective marketing?

That's actually on the"My TR" page. The TR home page has nothing. Most people that even know that link it there form last time, have no idea unless they click on it that there is a new quest. If they clicked on it for the last 2 months until a week or so, they would have seen the quest was over and may just assume like so many outdated links, they'll just leave it there...And if you didn't know about the quest before you very likely have no idea about it now.

I'd love to play with their data, in some ways they have to be so smart, but they seem to be so dumb sometimes.

I agree with Killswamper and LMarl pretty much completely. Yes, they botch up these promotions almost every single time. They all seem ill planned, and ill executed with the roll out and promotion, but almost to the letter we get out of it what we expected. I think with all of these things, it's not people who think like us or experienced casino personnel or really anybody that has a clue. It's likely interns or brand spanking new employees. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Those are great paths in life and business, but the people overseeing it need to make sure it remains transparent.

Still, while I may not see the benefit in some of these promotions, lots of people have greatly benefited from them.
