I am heading to Vegas next month and will be playing Ultimate Texas Hole 'Em. I enjoy playing the trips bet and here in Michigan we have wildly varying trips tables. Can anyone tell me what the trips tables are at casinos in Vegas. We will be staying on the strip but will be visiting downtown as well as other off strip casinos.

Great, will be staying at the Wynn. Hope the min is not too high for my bankroll.

Someone else can opine on their experience but what would you define as too high? I'd be surprised if it were under $15 for the ante at night

Everyones definition of too high will be different. For me $25 would be too high.

For me, $10 would be too high!
Remember - for bankroll purposes, a $10 min can easily be a $60 bet, plus whatever you bet on Trips.
All of the downtown UTH tables (except for GN at night) are $5. Nugget goes to $10 at night.

Even so, that $5 min bet is actually at least $10 (on a fold, no trips bet), and as high as $30 plus your trips bet.

It may be that high on Fri/Sat night (or there may only be one table at $15 and others at $25)

I haven't checked at Wynn lately but that's how it was at Cosmo when I was there in March. Never saw it under $15 min and most of the tables at night were $25

Well Steve did say 2xs odds based on craps being an expensive game to run manpower wise. That was his justification at least.

Though wonder why the VP is so shitty given that reason? :ssst::whistle:

I usually pay at $10 ante. On average that is over $40 per hand plus $5 or $10 on trips. Almost 40% of the time I am in at 4X at $60 per hand. A string of 4x losses can take a big hit on my $500 buy in. Will play $15 min if needed but would rather be lower.

Another question: A few casinos in MI require the table min bet on the trips as well. Most do not. How is it in Vegas?

Anyone played this at Beau Rivage in Biloxi? Any idea on pay tables and if they also have a progressive?

I've never heard of a required trips bet in Vegas.

I think he meant "can I bet $1 or $5 on the trips instead of the table min of $10 or $15"

Someone else can give a definitive answer, but I don't recall seeing anyone betting less than $5 on the trips anywhere I've been in LV. I have a vague recollection that when I asked this question in one casino I was told I only had to bet in increments of red even when the minimum was $15
