I will spare some of the details, but the cliffs notes: my buddies and I do a year long poker league where we send someone to Vegas to play in the WSOP.

Through the year, we collect fines and fees for various things, such as being late, and committing infractions.

We have like $150 collected and want to make an aggressive wager (between 20 and 30-1) to Turn it into something material or just lose it. We have some in mind but are looking for your input. Who has a good idea?

Three ideas: pick a number on roulette and let it ride, pick a horse race and bet the longshot, or bet a six leg parlay on some baseball teams you like

Craps: Yo (for one roll) or a hard way bet
    Roulette: Pick a number

Yeah, roulette, except maybe bet two numbers instead of one. You'll clear $2,550 if one of them hits.

I don't know if this bet is even possible - parlay Pittsburgh to win the AFC Championship (7 - 1) and the Super Bowl (18 -1)
    or KC (11 - 1, 25 -1)

$150 on the hardway 8. After it hits, parlay it.

$150 initial bet turns into $15,000.

    Easy money.

Don't think they usually let you parlay futures wagers

Horn bet at craps. You'll cover the 2, 3, 11 and 12. If you have 150, that's the perfect amount to make a "horn high" bet. For instance, if you say "horn high yo" that means you will be betting $60 on the 11 and $30 each on the other 3 numbers. The 3 and 11 pay 15:1, the 2 and 12 pay 30:1. But it's only a one roll bet. You win or lose on that next roll.

Your profile doesn't say where you are from so I don't know what the odds would be on one of your home town teams. But a good amount of entertainment value would be had for the entire group making a futures bet on "your" team. College or Pro football. Or maybe hockey futures will be up by then. Hopefully your team is not a super long shot but something in the middle that could possibly happen but still pay off big. Following it through the season would take on added significance for everyone vested in the bet.
Or if you are wanting a result sooner maybe on a golf tournament. Especially if the group has some golfers in it. It's lots more fun watching a tournament on TV when you really "feel" that missed putt of your horse!
Also on a future's bet there is proof that the bet was made. I always am reluctant to take a bet from someone staying at home like "put this $20 on #16" as I am in Vegas because of all the potential complications.

Don't forget to go play single zero if you're playing roulette at a $150 bet

I agree with others - I'd go $50 or $75 on 3 or 2 numbers. Then you can press.

Could also do a mondo slot spin

If you want drama for your money then consider a multiroll craps bet like hard ways or place 2 or 12 at crapless craps. Maybe even plan ahead to parlay.

There will be more suspense/action that way since the bet don't necessarily resolve on one roll.

Other than that I guess roulette on a number straight up.

I'm a Craps guy, so definitely agree with the above suggestions. Horn-high yo, or one or more of the hard ways!
