Table Games 4 hours without a Blackjack

Last night I played 4 hours at Mohegan Sun *8 Deck Shoe) and did not get 1 single Black Jack,. Has anyone else gone that long without a BJ ?

 

Yes, I have, it's called a cruise. So bored I played BJ with continuous shuffle. They wouldn't open the craps table until after dinner. Idiots. First night, did great, walked out up about $100. Second night up about $30. Finally the dreaded "sea day". No craps open, casino packed and I went the whole afternoon without a BJ. Even the dealers started counting along with me. Luckily I left after about 3 hours and decided reading a book would be better. Sad day but I deserved it. What was I thinking?

 

I've went about 90 minutes once in a double deck game in Tunica once with a 2 to 1 suited BJ promo (main reason I played). Also no one at the table got a suited BJ. Lol

But four hours is pushing once in a lifetime gambling territory for most people. At 60 hands an hour, it's less likely than 1 in 100,000.

 

That's sort of blackjack reverse "golden arm" record - most hours played without a blackjack! Can't say I've gone that long, but the cards are rarely kind to me. I love the game, just wish it loved me back.

Maybe you should sit next to me in Vegas sometime. Blackjacks seem to rain on the people on either side of me while I'm playing.

 

The Dealers where rooting for me other players where saying I wish I could give you my BJ. Every time I got Dealt a Face or an ACE everyone said here it comes.

 

So many BJ joke opportunities....

Wonder if my 21 hands at LIR with no wins is some sort of record too?

 

I know many times I've been on a BJ binge*getting lots of blackjacks), and yet i think "jesus, I'm still down", sometimes it goes that way...or the reverse.

 

1 in 307.8. Nah. More like that game just sucks. Lol
