I used to belong to the Las Vegas Advisor, and enjoyed reading their informative forums, but they changed their website, and the old forums just disappeared. So I discovered Vegas Message Board, and just joined as a member today. I am a mid-range Sapphire player at Boyd (I am from Chicago), and my room offers have been reduced. I have an upcoming trip to Vegas in July. I am looking to give my play to other casinos who generally send room offers to their players. I would appreciate any help or suggestions you could give me. Thanks!

Knowing your average daily coin-in if you are a slot/VP player or average bet and hours per day at the tables will really help with answers for you. I don't play anywhere DT so I probably can't help you there.

MY offers actually improved. Instead of the normal 2 nights +10 food comp, I am now receiving 3 nights (including Friday - Sat) with $10 food comp.

I now have 3 nights instead of 2 plus some freeplay and $10 food.

I used to get 3 comp nights + $20 food comp, which was cut down to 2 comp nights only for May or June. My July/August mailer, however, is for 3 comp nights, $10 food comp, and $10 slot credit each month, which is basically equal to to my previous monthly offers. Also, earlier this month, I received a postcard offer for 3 comp nights good through the end of June.

In addition, I just received a July/August mailer from Fremont (my "home" casino where I originally signed up for a card) with various 3-night comp room offers each month, including their Blazing 7s offer---33 free spins on a $1 Blazing 7s machine in the form of $99 slot credit. I've done two of those Blazing 7s offers in the past. I didn't win much either time, but during the second one, the woman on the machine next to me hit three blazing 7s for $1,000. What ticked me off was that she was preoccupied with her iPad the whole time and barely paid attention to the slot machine. Grrrr.

I had about a $300/day gambling budget at El Cortez and I would get Cabana Suite room offers and $50-$100 food comps.

CET properties seem to be the most generous with rooms. Also they have two casinos (im sure you already know) near Chicago.

OP, are your offers reduced even in the latest round to go out! Also, what do you play?
