in your experience, what is the best place to play for:
    Most unique comped drinks
    Quick drinks/best service

Lots of places are implementing the light system now, so curious as to what everyone's experience has been and their preferred place to go for drinks.

The light system is at the bars only. Michelle gets a strawberry daiquiri with Bacardi before bed at Planet Hollywood and loves it me a good beer like a Sierra Nevada or the likes. Caesars gives about anything but we are 7* so I think that makes a big difference. Love Planet Ho though, give it a try....and (still bleed Green but)........... Go Bulldogs!!!!!!

Not sure about unique drinks but I can tell you from my experience I've received great quick service and quality drinks while playing at Wynn, Mirage and Aria. Great service and drinks in general, but if you are at Wynn the best service is when you're playing slots in the area outside their high limit room, or at Mirage playing blackjack outside the high limit area (usually $25 or $50 tables). Bellagio has also been quite good in their blackjack pit as well ($50 or $100 tables).
Other places have been very hit or miss. I find most, if not all of CET places have drinks that don't taste the best (specifically vodka cranberry's...although the last visit over New Years they seemed to be a little better).

Yep should have clarified about the light system at the bars. This will be my first time being diamond at CET in Vegas, do you think the drinks they offer or service are any better? My fiancée really likes those speciality cocktails...we'll definitely venture over to PH at some point.

We stayed at the Encore last year and had outstanding service as well, can't speak Mirage/Aria as we don't spend a ton of time at MGM properties.

I don't drink too much liquor, but disappointing to hear you think the drinks at CET properties are not the best.

Cosmo's Chandelier Bar on the casino level let's you order comped (up to $15) drinks off their menu while playing VP. I've heard lots of folks rave about those drinks.

My advice is specify when ordering A rum and coke gets you house rum where as Captain will get you Captain or Malbu or Bacardi etc. The drink service at PH (after 12:)) in the afternoon) is very good and with a nice tip even better...........Rick

    +1 on the Cosmo.

My wife is a bit of a vodka snob. Her preference is GreyGoose. Cosmo is one of the few if only places which includes it in the comped drinks.

A lot of bartenders will notice a Diamond card and, once they do, service does tend to improve. Not sure about specialty drinks though.

Also let your server know you are Diamond/7* and it helps.

We've had the best service at Bellagio and the best drinks at the Cosmo.

I know in the DLs at CET you can request specialty cocktails. At PH last trip a couple next to me requested an interesting looking drink - I thought it looked good. The server indicated it was something they wanted made specifically and got me one also. It was very good, but silly me didn't write down the ingredients.

Cosmo and Wynn seem to have the best quality and overall service, IMHO. I actually don't have trouble with the ticket system at the Cosmo. I usually have a few left over to cash in throughout the day.

Also, I play at Harrah's sometimes and if you give those ladies a decent tip upfront, you won't have an empty glass all night. The last few visits my husband and I were asking them to slow down because we were having a hard time keeping up.

As far as service goes the CET lights don't really effect me as I play fast and on max. Cosmo seems to spit a ticket once every 20 minutes with normal play. I think as far as quality of beverages I would say Cosmo, especially if you're looking for unique and tasty concoctions. I also like Bellagio for a Tennessee Highball, but service on the floor is slow in my experience.
