I'd like to rave a little bit about the Cosmopolitan. Not that it needs it, since it gets plenty of good pub on these boards. But I just go home from my latest Vegas trip and that included 2 nights at the Cosmo. This was my second stay there. I stayed in a Terrace Studio unit (previously I was in 1 bdrm terrace suite) with a nice strip view on the 63rd floor in the Boulevard tower. It was another great stay. Now, I am not a High Roller by any means. I had about a $700/day bankroll while there and dined in 2 cosmo restaurants this time. I managed to get up to tier 2 sterling level in Identity while there. The thing I appreciate is the service. While I'm no high-roller, almost every employee treated me like one. Every request I made was granted with a smile. Outstanding!

We all know about the great rooms (with balconies!), the fine dining, and wonderful amenities. This great service level really sets them apart.

    Kudos Cosmopolitan!

I always stay at Aria and love it. But, I'm thinking about trying Cosmo in July.

I just sent an email to a Cosmo host I talked to last year. Hope I get a good enough offer to give it a try.

Refreshing to hear the positive side of things among all the complaining of late. Thanks for sharing!

I walked through the Boulevard Pool Tuesday afternoon and it was jumping. There were lots of beautiful ladies in their sexy swimwear along with plenty of dudes hanging out. Good size group but not overly crowded like some strip pools get.

Nice to continue to hear good things about the place. We will be staying there for the first time in a few weeks and posts like this make me feel very cozy.

Yep, the Cosmo is on a another level as far as I'm concerned. Aside from in Clique (which isn't run by Cosmo) I always get great service and almost always have friendly interactions from staff that is willing to go the extra mile.

It's what keeps me going in day after day when I'm in town, even if I'm staying elsewhere. Have known some of the bartenders (Cat, Dan, Abel) for 5 years and they always remember me and what I drink.

April trip - stayed at Cosmo
    1. Easy check-in despite a long line.
    2. Terrace suite - poured myself a drink and stepped out on the terrace.
    3. Breathtaking view of the strip and the Bellagio fountains.
    4. Excellent design of the room and comfortable bed.
    5. Fantastic drink service on the casino floor.
    6. Great collection of slots and table games.
    7. Staff was friendly and helpful.
    8. Looking forward to Identity offers and planning a July trip.

Very good to hear. We have loved staying at the Cosmo since it opened because it's just a beautiful property, but had issues the last few times and was just about to write them off. Received a offer for 2 nights and am anxious to give them another go.

I've just changed from Vdara to Cosmo for 10 nights during IFW in July.

I was looking forward to Vdara, but couldn't resist a Terrace Studio with FV for the same price.

Looking forward to getting any work done out on the balcony, rather than cooped up at the desk :D

Agreed, their service is terrific, probably why they're still the most popular and sought after hotel on the strip. However I will say they definitely give better comps to slot players than table players. I guess that makes sense given the odds of the games, but for example my husband plays through a few thousand dollars at the table games and I might play $500 in slots over s few days and I get better offers than him! Just an observation, no complaints here, it's my favorite hotel and I cannot wait to get back there next week. :drunk:

We have stayed at Cosmopolitan a whopping 3 times. There's just something about the vibe and feeling we get when we're there that is indescribable. And we've never had this feeling/experience at any other hotel/casino in Vegas.

We are missing that type of service at many properties. Everyone should follow the Cosmo lead and give outstanding service. As visitors we are paying enough money to be treated well.

Staying at the cosmo for the first time next week. My favourite hotel is Venetian but im super pumped for Cosmo.

Have a Terrace studio room. Did not book the fountain view. What are the possibilities for the view i'll get?

If you aren't upgraded at check in (desk staff at Cosmo frequently upgrade without even showing a $20), you'll most likely have a view of City Center.

Okay thanks. Will definitely ask at check-in.

We arrive on a Sat for a week. I get that an upgrade for the Sat night may be unavailable. How would we go about asking for starting on day 2, the Sunday?

My favorite place to stay and eat. Just wish they had better gambling conditions.

I stayed there once. A bunch of guys on a golf trip. Came back to the hotel (on a wednesday) about 2:30 after a sweaty round of golf looking forward to the pool. It was closed so they could get ready for a private event that evening.I know it can happen at any place, but it pissed me off. It will take a lot for me to go back.

Just got back today from a 2 night terrace stay facing city center. I freaking love the Cosmo. I didn't do so well gambling and honestly the food options I have had there are not for me (tried Holsteins this time. Could not get the greasy residue out of my mouth till I brushed my teeth). That being said it is still my first choice to stay and play in Vegas. Also forgot to add that we were at aria for 2 nights before that and was no comparison in my opinion on rooms and I didn't like the vibe there so I didn't give them a dollar of play I just walked to Cosmo.
