Slots Most unlikely win?

Few years back, I was just messing around at the Mirage playing 60 cents a spin on one of those machines with the mulri-level jackpots and actually hit the top prize for $650. It's easy to win big when you are betting big but what is your best slot hit when playing only a small amount?

 

Years ago at local casino me & wifey playing some Radom slots at minimum bet and was just doing okay but she hit a mini jackpot then it kept on triggering minor, major but didn't hit the grand lol. Anyhow, three jackpot added up to just under $1,100 with like $.38 bet lol. It was nice to see.

 

A few years back, I had hit a " Living The Dream" progressive machine for a hundred or so, then upped my bet to $.60! Within two or three pushes, I was in the progressive mode and hit for $1600+. Thought the machine malfunctioned

 

Watched my mom play that ski jumper game when the top jackpot was $14,000 and she won it for a $2 or $3 spin

I've never seen that jackpot even half that high

 

My best slot hit was a $728.01 hit on a Mr. Cashman tonight slot when I hit the maxi jackpot "spin the wheel" bonus on a 60 cent bet.

 

It happened just a while ago, actually. Took the last hundred of my $175 freeplay to the high limit room of the Venetian. First time I ever set foot in there. Spotted a Cleopatra II machine and loaded up my FP. First spin got the bonus and won $264. Cashed it out and played the remaining FP. Last spin got another bonus and got this

 

I won the $500 raffle drawing at Orleans this past November. Almost left the room without filling out my two tickets, but at the last minute decided to fill them out since I would be walking by the drum anyway. At 10:00 P.M I was shooting craps and heard the announcement. Shocked the hell out of me. And just noticed this was supposed to be about slot wins. Sorry but still had to tell it..

Playing the Happy Days slot at The Las Vegas Club in 2010 waiting for my wife to wake up from her Mermaids Casino Margarita fest coma... Just fucking around, played some video blackjack won like 3 blackjacks in a row, took the tito and put it in the Happy Days slot,max bet for 3 spins, then I get a 10 free spin bonus - triggered another 10 - then another 15 - then another 10. I loved Happy Days as a kid, the music from the 1950's was blaring, and the spins were paying like crazy. I'm loving it and just watching the credits go up and up and I'm clapping and woo hooing like an asshole...Then I realized "Hey dummy, you're in the Las Vegas Club, it's not even 7 a.m.. cool it.." I won close to $1700 , but never been so paranoid about cashing a ticket in my life.

 

Not a super big win, but still a 'surprise'. Years ago, in Reno (I think), when they still had coin-out only, we found a silver dollar lying in a 3 reel hopper. Put it back in the machine and won $200! Put it all in the racks to cash out, then discovered we only had $199 ... I'm guessing the last dollar was stuck and probably fell out later ... lol

I played my freeplay and then $40 on top on a gold bar 7's machine, after losing around $40 at a poker slogfest after 5 hours. I remember thinking "boy you are an idiot to sink cash money in this stinker" and then I hit for 1K! When you least expect it I guess!

 

Hit this the other night on a .60 bet. Just hit $360 on neighboring machine a few minutes before.

Can't top my mom who has won $4000 on a .40 bet, $1000 on a .30 bet & $1000 on a .10 bet lol.

 

Playing an electronic bingo version in Alabama, I hit the equivalent of 5 "Texas Teas" for $200 on an 18c bet. I technically hit a 22 spot pattern in 48 balls or something like that? Before I thought taking pics were cool.

First Vegas Royal at Flamingo, Presidents' Day 2012. Was heading to my worst loss ever and I basically was playing for "free beer". Hope the next time this happens to me that I'm betting a lot more. I was still down for the trip.

 

About 12 years ago in Vegas my wife and I arrived at MSS and sat next to each other at a couple of slant tops to play JoB. After about 10 minutes I heard her say, "hey what happened!?" She had thrown away 5 garbage cards and gotten the royal on the draw

 

I think it was 2010 or 2011 at the Beau in Biloxi. I skipped lunch so decided on an early dinner headed toward the BBQ place and got there a few minutes before it opened. There were some top dollar machines near by so decided to play and wait. Was not familiar with this machine. Put in a hundred. Down $35 when I got the bonus. Not knowing what was good or bad, I just wanted my 35 back. First offer 15, nope. Second offer 15, nope. Third offer 20, nope Final offer 1K. WTF? I thought it was amazing. My first time playing TD and I got the max. Not sure if that was a good thing because I have been hooked on those machines ever since.

Oddly enough TD also gave me my first hand pay with 2 double diamond and a 7. I hit the 1K at least twice more over the years but as with any slot, it pales in comparison to the amt I've poured into them. But , damn I have fun at those machines and that's what counts.

 

Not in Vegas but about a month ago I was at the Rivers in Pittsburgh Pa.....Had 20 cents left on a Wicked Winnings II....played 14 cents for shits and grins and got $165 in Ravens .....how's that for a Hail Mary lol!

 

Don't play slots but .25 Royals in VP are 800x paybacks.
$1.25 to win $1000.
I have 2 of these in my last 3 trips to Vegas since I started playing VP seriously.
