My wife and I will be in Vegas next week for our 15 th anniversary and she loves vegetable and shrimp tempura. Anyone have any good recommendations? We have a rental car so not limited to the strip. I know NOBU is probably an option, we have been to the NYC one.

Most Japanese Resturant would have tempura dish on their menu, Kumi at Mandalay Bay had decent one. Tempura dish is very simple to make most Japanese Resturant on strip should offer solid tempura dish.

Haven't been in a while, but the Makino buffet had some great shrimp (and I think vegetable) tempura and good cooked food. I would suggest checking out the photos on the Yelp page and giving it a shot.

Thanks for the suggestions, the Makino Buffet looks pretty good. Ultimately I'll let the wife pick so she doesn't blame me. [emoji3]

Just wanted to update this thread. I have pics and mentioned in my trip report but wanted to say here that my wife loved the makino buffet. All the tempura she could eat and it was fresh and very good. She had a little sushi but mostly just tempura. I was able to find enough non seafood items to eat an adequate lunch.

Love Makino, pretty high quality for a buffet.
