If you had to stay at one of these hotels and you were going to base your choice off of pools, restaurants in/around, what would you choose. Locations not a factor.

MGM for Wet Republic, but Aria is the best hotel out of them all...

If you want a party pool, MGM. If you want a nice pool complex with good service Aria. Aria has MGM beat in terms of room, restaurants and casino floor IMHO. I like the relaxing pool at Aria too so I'd give them the edge there too, but it may not be what you want out of a pool.

First time I've heard of someone rate the Mirage pool over both Aria and MGM (particularly MGM). However, to each their own.

Here's my personal opinion, on a score of 1 to 10, as I've stayed at all 3:

    Restaurants:
    Aria - 9
    MGM - 8
    Mirage - 5

    Pools:
    MGM - 10
    Aria - 8
    Mirage - 8

    Casino:
Even between all 3. Even though the Aria is the nicest, they all have their drawbacks. I think Aria can lack energy at times. MGM is a bit darker and very spread out. Mirage feels a bit more plain, like a lighter version of Mandalay Bay.

    Standard Rooms:
    Aria - 9
    MGM (non-West Wing) - 8
    Mirage - 7

    Intangibles/Other:

    Aria - 9
    MGM - 7
    Mirage - 8

Since location is not a factor, have you considered Delano or Mandalay Bay? Fantastic restaurant options and the pool is really nice - wave pool, beach, etc.

Since hotel quality wasn't a factor for you, I'd pick MGM for their pool. I like it a lot better than Aria's pool.

I actually had this exact same decision to make. I'm going to be there for Memorial Day week and I chose MGM over Aria because I love that lazy river...

I would have to go with MGM if the pool is any factor at all. Like ams722 says you gotta love the lazy river.

I have stayed in Las Vegas 16 times in the past 16 years. Out of the 3 hotels you have mentioned, I would choose the Mirage. I have stayed at the Aria and Mirage and I felt the Mirage had it all apart from a decent buffet,
The pool area was excellent with everything you would need. The Mirage is real Las Vegas with a fantastic casino. Try and stay in the rooms on the 24/25th floors called the "Resort Tower Rooms". These had private lifts, were great and certainly didn't break the bank to have.
If you have narrowed it down to these hotel choices then go with your heart but in all fairness you wont go wrong with any of them. You probably know this anyway but get yourself a players card , get rated and charge your food and drink from the hotel / MGM resorts to your room. Prior to your check out go to the players / MLife desk in the Mirage and see if you are eligible for any comps. My wife and I stayed 14 nights and were comped for 9 nights and all F&B was also comped. Found a great casino host.
I hope you have a great time

I would also choose Mirage. It's Pool is simply more tropical than the one at Aria. Can't speak on MGM since my wife and I have never stayed their. We do like Aria but choose Mirage due to Pool and Location. Either way, you will have a great time.

I like the Aria room the best out of the 3.
I like the Mirage casino the best out of the 3.
I like the MGM pool the best out of the 3, just because of the lazy river.
I'm not a fancy eater...but I would choose Mirage food wise as their options aren't bad and also because you have many options in close proximity to the resort, like Venetian across the street etc.
