    Thanks vegasworm!!
My thoughts thus far are that I probably won't stay here again. Not that I hate it, there is just nothing remarkable about it to me. We have a red room tower view on a high floor, but it's just a regular room with a really nice view in my opinion. It's nice, but I liked flamingo go rooms better to be honest. And of course the Augustus tower fountain view room last year at Caesars's was my favorite of all time.
The gambling hasn't been that good to me here and there is nothing that stands out to me about the place.
We are having breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi tomorrow morning, so that might change my opinion slightly. :)

I had good days and bad days there. Bally's is close on the days it is bad.

Stockton is the same way...I like it better..so much easier than LAS...it's how regional airports where Allegiant is the ONLY airline, work.

So we rested for about an hour and decided to do the miracle mile shops tonight rather than tomorrow, thus freeing up most of tomorrow for us.
We headed first to the Paris diamond lounge where they were serving hot food. It was chicken wings and chicken and waffle fries for those keeping score.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Then we were off the MMS. I had three stores I wanted to check out. Lush, Mac and Tervis.
Ended up dropping $40 at Tervis for this awesome water bottle for work.
32 oz and keeps it ice cold for 12 hours.
I wanted to give Mac some of my money but I couldn't get anyone to help me. Apparently I don't LOOK like someone that would drop some serious cash there, so I was literally ignored by the staff. Just as well because I am a huge impulse buyer and would have given them more money than I cared too.
I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she goes back and shows the snotty sales girls how much they could have made on her in commissions.
In LUSH I dropped almost a hundred in stuff for myself and my husband. I can't wait to try a lot of it.
We then headed over to the PH diamond lounge to round out our DL hop.

Next we hit up Pink's Hot Dogs next door for dinner and we are back chilling in the room.
My feet are very tired and hurt after today. I recently broke my big toe and it hasn't healed properly. No I never went to the doctor, I'm sure it's fine. ;)
I'm about to slip into a bath and I think go to bed. I'm not ashamed to be going to bed early on a Friday night. We had a full day and now we have no plans for tomorrow other than breakfast. That means more gambling! :)

Love the trip report so far. The pictures of the Red Room help me a lot, as that's what we have reserved for the first two nights of our upcoming trip - 3 weeks from today and we'll be heading out. I feel you about MAC - I don't think I look like what they cater to either, as I'm always ignored. No big deal - I'll gladly take my money elsewhere. Good choice on LUSH. I love their products. Actually bought some a couple years ago at MB and was considering trying a shampoo bar for our June trip so I didn't have to stress about trying to stuff too much liquid into a the insanely small quart size bag.

    Have fun and good luck!

    Thanks!
Yeah, I'm so glad I took my money to LUSH instead. The staff was really knowledgeable and helpful. I've already used three of the products and
    LOVE them. [emoji38][emoji38]

Slept in a bit and puttered around the room til noon. The original plan was to go to mon ami gabi for breakfast but we decided to change our plans. I still wanted the go but I didn't want to put a time frame on it.
We had time leftover on our monorail passes so we took
That down to SLS. I hadn't been there since it was The Sahara and was curious about it.
I gotta say it was pretty unremarkable. We circled the casino, fed she me money into a machine and headed back to the monorail.

We went into Ballys and looked around for a bit when I saw the OMG Puppies machines. Well, you know I had to.
We sat down and played and they ended up being pretty kind to us.

After that we hit up Mon Ami Gabi around three o clock. It was the perfect time for it on a Saturday. We got a prime seat outside in the shade and the weather was perfect.
We got the French onion soup and the baked goat cheese. It was perfection!!!

I'm so glad I went, I was contemplating skipping it. Soooooo goooood!!
Now we are back up in the room resting and planning a low key night.

Really enjoying the dual trip report and pics and insightful comments. We are considering a first stay at Paris as we like the slots there so appreciate your views! The moth thing is creepy though (bugaphobiA, haha).

Hope your last evening and tomorrow are fun and you find some lucky slots.
Yum on Shake Shack if you go - we like it too!

Enjoying your report and the pics. Mon Ami is one of my go to places for breakfast, have not tried lunch or dinner. Your pics are making me think I should. Do the fountain facing rooms end in odd or even number, can't remember for the life of me.

    Great trip report.

My Aunt and I are staying at the Paris next month.

It sounds perfect to me and since we got comped for 5 nights, It's a win.:woohoo:

My trip report will follow in June. Glad you are having a good time.

Sorry Paris slots aren't treating you well.... Since we prefer staying at a hotel that is more laid-back & comfy for us.....Bally's & Paris are our LV homes. Cosmo, Bellagio or Caesars just don't appeal to us. Love the location of Paris/Bally's & we always have pretty new room & fountain view.
Glad MAG was a hit tho! Haven't ever seen the goad cheese on the menu....may need to try that next trip but LOVE the French Onion Soup! Good luck today!

That is exactly what we ended up doing Sonya. I had a lot of luck on that OMG Puppies machine at Bally's and this might be the first trip we ever came out ahead! LOL!

Right? I wish we had more of an appetite at the time because EVERYTHING sounded so good. But on the plus side, we got two sodas and those two items and were out of there for thirty something dollars minus the tip. :)

Thanks Geogran!! Shake Shack was the bomb. I've eaten at one of the ones in New York so I knew what I was in for but the Hubby was really pleasantly surprised.
I would recommend Paris, but I probably won't go back. It just wasn't for us. I WILL be back for Mon Ami Gabi though! :)

It was so amazing!!! Our room was in the 1-26 tower and ended in a five. I hope that helps. :)

Thanks! Overall I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'll be back soon, other than to eat at Mon Ami Gabi. ;-)

Yeah, Paris casino just wasn't for us, but we loved Bally's and might stay there next time.
The goat cheese is an appetizer on their lunch menu and soooooo worth it. I WILL be back for Mon Ami Gabi. ;-)

Okay, back home safe and sound and wrapping up the trip report.
So, after Mon Ami Gabi, we chilled in the room for a while before heading downstairs to gamble some more. Since Paris wasn't giving us what we wanted we headed over to Bally's. Rob and I split off as I headed back to my Puppy slot and he went off to video poker.
I was up about a hundred and fifty when he came by. He asked me to cash out and start again with another twenty, which I did and proceeded to win even more (see photos above)
Rob got tired and headed back up to the room and I continued to gamble until a lovely order couple sat down, one on either side of me, and sucked all the luck out of the machine. I had a very nice chat with them about our dogs, but I had to cash out while I was still ahead and get out of there. They were the biggest luck suck I've seen in a while.
On the way back over to the room I stopped at La Creperie and got us some dinner.
    IMG_0523.JPG

At this point I was a little(lot) drunk so I didn't take pictures of the food, but we got a nutella crepe for Rob(he still had leftover hot dog stuff from Pink's), a ham and cheese crepe for me and a butter and sugar crepe for my desert. I ate about half of each and then we watched Fresh Prince of Bel Air before passing out.
This morning we woke up and got ready. Checked out of the room and monorailed over to MGM. From there we wanted to do the foot bridge to NYNY to hit Shake Shack, but there was some confusion with the construction they are doing at the lower level entrances. We finally figured out that we had to go into the MGM and go to the higher level INSIDE in order to get to the foot bridge.
Totally worth it though when we got to Shake Shack and got our food. I got a Shakeburger for me and a Smoked Shakeburger for Rob with fries and a peanut butter shake.
    IMG_0526.JPG IMG_0527.JPG IMG_0528.JPG IMG_0529.JPG

It was of course, awesome!!! Enjoyed every bite but we were still way early for our flight. I found an OMG Kittens machine that drained all my money with zero wins, thus confirming my theory that cats are just assholes. Might have something to do with the fact that I'm allergic.
Rob played some video poker, but overall we didn't want to spend anymore money so we ubered over to the airport.
We were hella early, so we both called our respective mothers and wished them a Happy Mothers Day. After that we hunkered down in an abandoned hallway near our gate and chilled for a bit.
    18486133_10155194662007570_7230396316833860570_n.jpg
After a while we figured out there was some confusion about our gate and getting the plane out. The flight that was supposed to leave there first got moved to a different gate and eventually so did we. I'm not sure what was wrong with that plane, but I'm glad they didn't make us get on it.
We weren't that worse for wear as we were only delayed about 20 minutes leaving our gate and ended up getting to our airport here in Monterey on time.
Once we were on the ground, I got the car out of hock while Rob waited for his bag and then we were out of there.
    Home by 7:30.
It is now 9:30 and I'm super tired so I will update tomorrow with my final thoughts on the trip, but right now I have to take my ass to bed. :)

Sounds like a fun time and coming out ahead is the best!

Do you always fly or have you guys driven in the past?

    Thanks for the report!

We hardly ever fly, it's about 8 hours on a good traffic day from Monterey so when you factor in all the time it takes you to get through security, flight delays and such, I think it's actually easier to drive. There is just something about knowing you are on your way instead of waiting around to get on your way. Plus Hubby drives so I can sleep. ;-)
When we lived in Phoenix it was only a five hour drive so we would go at least once every two months.
If we were to do a trip like this again, I think I would rather just ask for a late check out and sleep in and or watch TV rather than sit around the airport.

Oh that's right, I remember that from your other trip report. I would love if we were only an 8 hour drive away! We almost always drive, but it's about 12 hours for us.

We used to want to move to Phoenix in the early 2000's, then made the move to Colorado about a decade later. We're a lot closer to Vegas now than when we lived in Houston. Thank goodness!
