    Debating about picking one up.
Would like to wear it playing slots or even Craps but not sure how flexible the casinos are.
Usually minimal issues when using my phone on the slots, but not sure if they view the use of a GoPro differently.
Also, has anyone used one while playing Craps?

I was going to get a pair of Snapchat Spectacles - https://www.spectacles.com/ to record random moments on the strip but unless you share it to snapchat (which I'm not totally fond of) the video is in a circle which is dumb.

On the strip and restaurants your probably fine; shows, pools (don't be that guy / girl), casino floor - probably not.

The only problem I can think of right off - is the poor friends that you make watch the videos when you get home. LOL

I can only pray that you'll encounter an incredible amount of resistance.

(I do know the kind of resistance you'll encounter if you sidle up next to me at a craps table trying to record the action.)

Would you mind if the dealers came to your workplace and filmed everything you did?

    I figured as much.
It was more wishful thinking than anything.
Getting a hot craps table session on video to watch post trip would be pretty neat.

I'm only 30, but I don't think that is an unreasonable consideration for a casino to take into account. If allowing people with Gopros strapped to their heads to film is going to cause labour problems, there is going to need to be a big enough upside to make it worthwhile to deal with those labour problems. I can't imagine allowing filming is a net positive for the casino.

Anyway, preventing cheating is probably the reason they're not allowed. You're unlikely to get too much leeway.

Why the need to record everything? Why not just enjoy the experience?

PS-I'm not greater than 50.........

I would agree with that somewhat. We travel alot and watch some people so busy taking pictures or videos, they miss what is happening around them. Sort of like people that video a concert. Who ever watches those thing later anyways? Maybe 30 seconds, then put it away and enjoy it.

I look at this way. If all you want is pictures and videos, then just stay home and look them up on the internet - LOL!

I've been watching some Vegas related vlogs lately and I've picked up a few things here and there. One guy got kicked out of Cromwell for simply recording whilst in that casino and I don't believe he was even gambling yet. He was told to stop and then was kicked out when he asked why. He also was told by security at either Paris or Planet Hollywood that he can't record while he is gaming, and he was recording his slot play.

Another vlogger commented how he usually gets told to shut off his camera by somebody when he gets down to the bottom of the escalators at NYNY but nobody was there to stop him that time.

I've seen plenty of videos of people doing walk throughs and they walk by casino staff and don't get stopped. I'm not sure how they are getting away with it, but it's pretty hard to find any videos of actual game play at the tables and also hard to find videos of extended slot play.

Don't record your gambling and hope for the best throughout the rest of the resort and plead the 5th if you're asked to stop... "Oh, I'm sorry, I though the no camera thing was only for gambling".

I admit I AM over 50 (well, actually exactly 50) but I can't stand the need to film everything. We brought our 23 year old nephew to Vegas and he spent so much time walking around holding his phone up to film everything around him. He even admitted that Snapchat isn't about what's real, but how cool you look., So if I hit a $500 hand on VP, he'd snap or film it and make it look like his. People should put their phones down and try experiencing real life for a change. #grumpyoldladyrant #getoffmylawn

The last time we saw Pat Benetar in concert, her husband Spyder went on a good natured but hilarious rant about how stupid everyone looked basically paying $80-$100 and then watching them through their phone screens because they were filming the whole time. He was like "If you really want to film the whole time we aren't going to stop you, but seriously folks, put your phones down and try enjoying the concert you paid to be at!!"

Have to agree 100% with this post. Wait, let me take a picture of it first.

Really - I get being on the phone all the time, but put it away when you are "enjoying" something else.

If you want extended videos of slot play, "Follow Casino Realness" on Youtube. I don't care for his language. He always makes 1 hour videos, from shorter clips. However, some of his clips are over 15 minutes.

Go Pros in the UK are used by cyclists to film bad drivers and make fools out of them by posting on youtube.

Warning bad language and need watch until the end
