    I'm betting at my local OTB for the Derby.
    I was asked by several novices to run an office pool.
    What would be a fair system for a bunch of novices ?
    Not sure how many will end up in this ?
    ( I keep coming up with ideas for people who would do research ---
    not this group ! }
    I'll probably take a pass on it
    but suggestions - I'd be grateful.

    Pretty easy...Say $10 an entry Draw #;s out of a hat...Figure out what % to Win say 75% /Place 20%/Show 5% 20 entries would be $150/40/10
    Whatever you do-Don't let them know you're going to the OTB..and have them ask to put $2 on such and such..F That
    I cannot stand non-gamblers at work anymore.

    James I feel the same way. I hate that. They will even call me at the track on Derby day and ask who they should bet. Do your homework.

    I run one every year at the golf course. We do $20 a horse. (You can do a dollar a horse if you want, or go higher!)

    Win 50%
    Place 30%
    Show 20%
