We just got a offer from B Connected (ONLINE) with free nights +no free play+no food for "multiple properties" (two). We play heavy at Sams Town and The Orleans. Please note there is nOT an offer from Sams Town. These are the dates they will "comp" us for two nights only :
May 1-3, May 8-12, May 15-17, May 26, May 30-31 or June 29-30, 2017 at The Gold Coast and May 1-4, May 8-10, May 16-18, May 23-25, May 31 or June 14-15, 2017 at The Orleans

Very limited. We are Sapphire players and grind the machines day in and day out yet they seem to feel they can only offer this to us.

Like I said we grind out play for 12+ hours daily and our play has always gotten us a lot more than this.

What is your opinion on this?

Last week, our host mentioned to us that "they" are looking very closely at the play to warrant the comps.

12+ hours at what bet? It's not time that ANY casino looks at. It's coin-in. What's your daily point count? Have you talked to a host?

    Lots of things missing here . . . . .

My wife and I used to each get 2 free nights with a $10 food credit each which we would combine for a 4 night stay but no more, I'm down to 1 free night and the wife just get a reduced rate, this and all the changes to the Orleans has us looking for a new place.

We did enough to get comp four 3 free nights 7 days a week + free food + free play. Nothing has changed as far as what we do. 3000 points a day sound about right with both of us playing on the same player card. We are not whales but we don't feel that we shouldn't be offered at least one meal with the current sunday - thursday offer. Why Sam's Club is not there for us really is confusing.

I ask again, have you talked with a host? Computers sometimes make mistakes which can cause comps to change. You don't have to be a "whale" to talk to a host, but my policy has always been "If you don't ask, you don't get"..

Nope. But we called and tried to contact one at a B Connected Casino and they said we had to talk to the players club. Called another one and they took our number and never called back.
We are going next month and staying at the Tropicana where we put thru less than 100.00 in their machines before seeing a show their and they comped us 2 free nights and free buffets. If we have time (we kinda like to support people that we get the comps from so we may not) we will go in person to Sams Town and Fremont and see what their problem is.

Thanks for reminding us that yes indeed "computers make mistakes" (haven't heard that one for a long time :)

Hey but how about you put 10,000 through on this trip and they go to one night offer nothing else. Ratbastards like the rest of them or just business. ? Not defending but a teaser is a teaser. Please report back future offers.

I didn't get my usual slot tournament offer any time this year. I called and asked if they had been discontinued. Answer was no, and I arranged a slot tournament during my preferred dates. The tournament was at Orleans. A few days after the call, I got an offer of a slot tournament from Gold Coast too.

Just ask. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Sam's Town and Fremont have no problem at all.
The problem is Boyd decided to cut the budget for marketing, severely cut, not just a little.
Each casino chain has their own ways to extract extra money from their guests.
MGM and CET can charge parking fees, but Boyd can't do that,
so they have to get money from somewhere else.

I received a survey for my stay last week at the Orleans. And I filled it out.

And I told them of mine and other's displeasure with the offer cutbacks.

It just felt good to vent. Nicely. But I vented.

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Cal this past week, using our Ruby-level price booked online. Over the course of those three days, I put enough points on my card to get me to the Sapphire level.

On my way to check out, I talked to the slot host on duty about back-end comps and she was kinda rude to me in saying that we didn't gamble nearly enough, and stated that she'd "do a favor" (her exact words) in taking $20 off of my bill. It was bad enough that that much play got me $20, but her attitude seemed like I was wasting her time. I asked about using my points to pay part of the bill, and instead of an explanation on how the program works (or at least referring me to the BConnected ladies), she responded with "No, no, no, no, no... it doesn't work that way".

This wasn't my only service issue at the Cal, and it brings up a larger issue of customer service these days in Las Vegas (but that's another topic). If you're going to tell me that my play didn't warrant more than $20 in comps, at least smile, be polite, and explain the situation to me. It's not that hard.

You know what? I'll start a thread about customer service issues...

Just back from 4 nights @ MSS and then 2 nights at Orleans.
I had a 4 night offer and $35 FP for MSS and 2 night offer w/$15 food credit and $10 FP.
I was Emerald for 2015 and 2016, but dropped back down to Sapphire in 2017.

    Points played @ MSS:
    Sat arrival night 4200
    Sun 14000
    Mon 15000
    Tues 10500

I went once to the players club to see about getting a meal comp, and no one was there.
I used my points for all meals.

The night before I checked out, I saw host Brenda.
I did ask for a late checkout, which I got.
I inquired about "better" future offers, and did not get a definite response.

Points played @ Orleans (less since all I did was lose):
    Wed 6700
    Thurs 8000

    TOTAL POINTS: 79,909

I had a friends meal @ Alder and Birch for $188, which I charged to my room.
    I tipped cash of $35 (20%)
At checkout, I got this meal comped.

Orleans is tighter, machine-wise, IMO, but I get way more offers from them, than MSS now.
Along with my other fav beer and a spa.

Call a host as already mentioned on this thread. Brenda at MSS comped 3 trips in advance for me (total of 7 nights) and I have not given my local Boyd much play at all for the last year, about to lose Emerald actually. My last trip there I don't remember having THAT much coin in either, but did play the tables at $25 - $100 for a couple of hours. Im not sure about other properties, but I do know she can book all three downtown ones for you.

i vote with my feet and my dollars. since Boyd's turned ice cold on non-locals, I have scaled way back on my play and loyalty to them.

Seems like they are redeeming themselves. I went from a no play to back to normal. Back to my original offers but at seven properties now. Reminds me of how CET does things

BConnected has been a real roller coaster this year. Until February i was getting 3 nights plus food a month at MSS for a good 10 years. Nothing in March and April, then got 2 nights plus $10 free play at any downtown Boyd, May through June. Now just checked and have 3 nights plus $10 free play at any dt Boyd twice in July and twice in August. Can't wait to see what's coming September/October.
