Hi all and greetings from the UK,

after last years 20th Vegas anniversary trip, i did not think Vegas was on the agenda this year, but after my wife and I celebrated our silver wedding earlier this year we decided a holiday was in order, so where better to go. we fly to LA next Saturday and arrive in Vegas sunday for 4 nights, 2 nights at Red Rock, 2 nights at the Mirage. with both bookings we have a $50 credit to use .

so my question, we would like to " celebrate", albeit a tad late our anniversary, by enjoying a good steak house meal, we did originally have sonoma cellar at Sunset Station booked ( hidden gem, great food and service) but they are now closed for refurbishment next week, so do i take my good lady to T Bones at Red rock or Heritage Steak at Mirage to use up our credit, or is there a better steakhouse relatively close to the Mirage that i won't need a second mortgage for ? thinking a budget of $300 ish for the meal, all ideas very welcome, thanks in advance.

    Graham

Happy (belated) anniversary to you both, and I hope you have a great trip!

I'd imagine you'd be able to get out of almost any steakhouse in town for under $300, if you aren't going crazy on wine.

I'd suggest SW at the Wynn, for a special occasion.

I second SW at Wynn and also recommend Delmonico at Venetian. With wine, you can definitely have dinner there under $300. If you go to SW, request outside seating. Charlie

The Country Club Grill at Wynn has a great filet and bison ribeye. Beautiful view of the golf course top, also has outside seating. We had our anniversary dinner there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Service was wonderful.

Two of my favorites are BLT Steakhouse (there's a Travelzoo special for it right now) at Bally's and Charlie Palmer's Cut of the Week ($58 per person includes wine) at the Four Seasons. (Take the free shuttle from Bellagio to Monte Carlo - walk to Excalibur and take the free shuttle to Mandalay Bay).

Given the silly price of steak in Vegas that travelzoo deal at BLT looks very good value

For overall experience - steak quality and ambiance I would do
    1. SW steakhouse - outside on patio, table close to lake of dreams
    2. Morel's at Palazzo - table outside

Second options would be Heritage at Mirage and Delmonico's at Venetian. Last time i went to Delmonico's there was a $65.00 pre fix...awesome meal.
