Looking for suggestions for music to download to my phone to walk to & pump it up a bit. Does not need to be Vegas related. Samples of what I have on my phone are things like Waking up in Vegas, Phamous, Sharp Dressed Man, Old Time Rock & Roll.

Looking for suggestions to make me move a bit more while walking. (Typing this as I sit in a pile on the couch.....).

Another One Bites the Dust is on my mix-tape!
    As is Stayin' Alive!

The tough part is flipping the tape over in my Walkman while running! :D

    Happy walking, jgates8!

Spotify has a wide variety of playlists you can select based on your music preference. I usually choose songs from their 'Cardio' or 'Pop' playlists (some of which is EDM) for group and individual training.

Some of my favorite songs for my own workouts:
Chained to the Rhythm (Katie Perry, Oliver Heldens Remix)
    Rocky (Tiesto and Kaaze)
    Sweet Escape (Gwen Stefani)
    Lit Up (Buckcherry)
    Dragula (Rob Zombie)
    Let's Go Crazy (Prince)
Payphone (Maroon 5, w/ Wiz Khalifa)

Are there 2 - 3 genres of music you'd prefer? That would help whittle it down a bit. That way I won't recommend Walking in LA by Missing Persons or Walk This Way by Aerosmith, when you'd rather have stuff like I'm Walking by Fats Domino.

As far as genres I am pretty open. There are some I don't like 'overall' but there are still some songs I really do like (does that make sense?) Example - my husband loves old time country (Patsy Cline etc) & it is NOT my style - however there are specific individual songs I do like.

About the only thing I do NOT like is rap type music. And hey - I do like both Aerosmith & Fats Domino lol!!! (I LOVE riding the Rock N Roller Coaster at Disney with the Aerosmith music going while you go 0 to 60 in 8 seconds lol).

Looking for something different? Try Parov Stelar. It's like some sort of electric swing. It's also mainly instrumental.

Fair enough (not in any particular order) :

Get This Party Started - Pink
Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Leppard
    Closer - NeYo
    Kashmir - Led Zeppelin
    Done My Time - Korn
Eight Days A Week - The Beatles
Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones
    Problem - Ariana Grande
Bang, Bang - Ariana Grande, Jessie J & Nicki Minaj (yes, there's some rap in the middle, but it works)
    Respect - Aretha Franklin
Highway Star - Originally by Deep Purple, but you should look for the tribute version done by Glenn Hughes and Steve Vai out on Youtube
    Let's Dance - David Bowie
    Cheap Sunglasses - ZZ Top
Working For The Weekend - Loverboy
I Want A New Drug - Huey Lewis and the News
Run To You - Bryan Adams
Girls Just Want To Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
Tie Your Mother Down - Queen
I'm Gonna Get You Good - Shania Twain
    Last Name - Carrie Underwood
Shining Star - Earth, Wind & Fire
Something About You - Level 42
Gimme Three Steps - Lynyrd Skynrd
All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight - Hank Williams, Jr.

That should "get your party started".

    Anything? Everything?

My iTunes is a total mish-mash. Sure, there's a lot of '70s rock, prog and swamp-rock, British Invasion ... hey, I'm in my mid 50s. I also have a lot of current country, trip-hop/acid-jazz, surf tunes, folk stuff, so-called 90s adult rock/pop, grunge, and even some of the newfangled kids.

    Bruno's Song

I know you said it did not have to be Vegas related but I had just watched 24K Magic by Bruno Mars again.
You know a Celebrity has Major Clout when he's granted permission to ride a Jet Ski in "Lake Bellagio".
Sure it could have been shot in a Green Screen Tank (like at; Universal Studios Hollywood) but looks real to me!
Good Tempo and Beat to walk to!

I also need to add some Billy Squire to my song list.
