    My Trip Report

Just wanted to share some pics of our recent trip/cruise. These are pics of the views we had when we were in the El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico. The weather was perfect this day! And the falls (which I have a better pic of on my phone was very refreshing. There were a lot of people there, so it was like a pool party... IMG_2019.JPG IMG_2039.JPG IMG_2040.JPG IMG_2043.JPG

These are beautiful picturesque views are in St Thomas. We also enjoyed some time at Mountain Top View, Home of the World First Banana Daiquiri also in St Thomas.

. IMG_2138.JPG IMG_2143.JPG IMG_2157.JPG In Barbados, we enjoyed a day at the beach and then lunch consisting of grilled jerk chicken...(sorry pic is on my phone...) IMG_2237.JPG IMG_2240.JPG

St Lucia was our next stop. The highlight here was the view of the Pitons. IMG_2303.JPG IMG_2319.JPG
Next day highlight was in St Kitts with another picturesque view of the "divided oceans" or "where the Oceans meet". But the left side is the Atlantic Ocean and the right side are the Caribbean seas (as we were told)... IMG_2404.JPG

Final stop was in St Maarten and Maho Beach was the highlight...Yes, those planes are what people come here to see. We did not get that close so as to feel the sand blowing up against us or to literally be blown in the water, when the planes took off...

I know right. I was just glad I was able to zoom into those pictures and didn't have to be up close physically to see those planes...

Thank You. Maho Beach was one of our favorites. I'm glad we got to go as well. Not only enjoying the airplanes but the DJ and live music and just enjoying the water was great.

Haha...There was a casino on the ship but I didn't dare as I figured they're not willing to pay for the cruise...

What kind of games did they have? I heard since they are on international water they don't have to follow any gaming regulations.. I'm not sure if that's true or not

@NYNYGirl Thanks for these great pictures - pristine and lush areas of Puerto Rico that cruisers on an excursion don't always get to see! We stopped in St Thomas but didn't get to experience the Mountain Top View - your pics of St Thomas really capture its beauty. Love your St Maarten Maho Beach pics - we ended up at Orient Beach for a half day of beach and sand as our friends wanted a quiet less crowded outing, except we had to swim thru scads of seaweed from a recent storm, lol. It was fun and relaxing, but next time it will be Maho Beach and all the excitement. The planes, the planes - kinda scary though but must do once for sure!

You captured the beauty and essence of so many of these places! (I'm ready for another cruise, oops, our next one is Alaska again in Sept but back to the Caribbean next year :)).

We only walked through a couple times and saw slot machines as well as table games but couldn't tell you what they were..

Thank you. And yes Puerto Rico is beautiful. Going through that Rainforest was awesome. Enjoyed Mountain Top in St Thomas as well. In St Maarten we went to Orient Beach as well. It definitely was very relaxing. But yes Maho was the highlight so hope you make it there.

I want to do an Alaskan Cruise one day just to walk the suspension bridge...
