Im a CET player and in the past have stayed at Flamingo, Ballys and Paris.

I am reaching out this year and staying at Planet Hollywood in May (comped , as any other listed above would have been).

Give me some feedback of what I may like or dislike staying there. I am a poker player, BJ, carny games, and VP mainly.

    Thanks for your opinions

PH isy favorite place to stay! Earl of Sandwich is very tasty, open 24 hours, and cheap. There's an ABC store just outside the south casino entrance, useful for quick cheap beers. I enjoy the scantily-clad dealers at the pleasure pit. Koi has a good happy hour special if you like sake & sushi.

Don't forget about Planet Dalies too.
The mall offers additional places to eat and as others mention the ABC gets frequented by us on our trips.
    Easy access to/from the room/casino.
PH is our usual Casino but we are switching it up and staying at Paris next trip.
We are doing this for a change but yet wanting to stay close to the PH, Paris and Ballys as well as the PH mall.
You get a lot of diversity for gambling, shopping and eating between these 3 in a relatively small area.

There is a Garretts Popcorn in the mall. It has Great Carmel Corn.

I liked Burgr and Earl of Sandwich. The newly renovated rooms are a pretty solid improvement compared to when I stayed there. Good location, nice vibe in the casino. With that said, I'm not a fan of the bar/clubs, slot selection, or the pool area.

PH has a young hip vibe to it but you'll see all ages there. The atmosphere makes it a great time imo. Love having the miracle mile shops connected as well as many restaurant choices on location. Not to hard to find something you'll like as that just about every place is good. Love the bj pits right outside the high limit. Dealers are fun as well as most pit bosses. Great strip location. The heart bar which is located at the center of the casino usually has a live dj and a fun atmosphere. I really think you'll like PH. You can't go wrong there.

Concur with everything said so far. Stayed at PHo back in January and enjoyed it much more than I expected. Room was solid. Casino was fun. Plenty of value food options. Remodeled rooms are very comfortable.

First Vegas Casino I stayed in when I was legal to Gamble, so I'm a bit biased to it. However, the fact that the atmosphere is very lively, there's quality choices of food at a reasonable cost, I'd say it's in my top 5.

It was my last LV CET property I stayed at......& I absolutely loved everything about it. Great room, excellent customer service, a lively casino, great restaurants. Unfortunately, my wife felt just the opposite about it. She felt it was just "EH" compared to other Caesars locations. I felt it delivered everything I wanted, beyond my expectations.

This is our main casino in Vegas. Along with Planet Dalies and The Earl of Sandwich, we love the buffet for breakfast and hit Strip House once a trip. Love the high ceilings in the casino that keeps it less smoke filled than Caesars or Bally's. The Heart Bar is good, the Miracle Mile is a nice place with lots of restaurants and you are also next to Paris. We have stayed there almost exclusively (stayed at Caesars at there 50th) and are going back for our 7* in August. If you are Diamond the lounge is on the Mezzanine level and tucked away very quiet and a good get away place. Enjoy.................Rick

Favorite CET casino. I get more status and offers elsewhere, but I thoroughly enjoyed staying at PH a few years back. Great location with the bridge over to City Center and short walk to Paris/Bally's. Fun place to gamble and solid casual dining options in Miracle Mile.

Stayed here over Xmas last year. Was in the newer Ultra Hip. Had the strip view and it was gorgeous. Room itself was nice enough, nothing spectacular but more than big and comfy enough for a single guy. Great shower.

I like the convenience of PH, right by Miracle Mile so plenty of eating and drinking, and across from the Cosmo (my Vegas spirit animal). Honestly I didn't spend much time in the casino but it still holds up OK despite being a bit on the older side. Was there on a comp stay...think I would probably prefer the very nice Burgundy Rooms at Paris if given a choice but it was a good experience overall.

I really liked PH when we stayed there in 09...the rooms were still movie themed and that just felt cool. The rooms were comfortable and nicely laid out, IMO. The casino itself is still probably my favorite. I'd stay there more, but it's hard to justify $209/night vs $55 @ Flamingo.

Don't forget Fat Tuesday at the Miracle Mile. I also like Ocean One for a pretty decent, cheap meal. I can usually get out of there for less than $10 for bfast or lunch and $25 for dinner. It's not 5 star, but it's priced well for Vegas.

We have always enjoyed our stays there, both when it was Aladdin and now PH. We like the casino and go there even when we are not staying there. Enjoy browsing the mall too.

Love PH. It is my favorite hotel and casino. With Earl of Sandwich, BurGR and the mall, many dining options are available.

Casino is always hopping and active, most of the dealers are great.

I only stayed once at PH and to be honest it was my least favourite (even liked IP better can you imagine haha) but i have to say i was spoiled at that time(nice room at caesars, nice calais suite at paris) and this was a normal room(even had to ask for fridge) anyways having this said there are some pros: the spa at PH is really nice and i also heard from a buddy of mine who was staying there that the rooms are remodeled and have a fridge
ofcourse you have at PH a nice vibe and some nice places to eat(earls yolos etc) so you will certainly have a good time

I didn't want to admit it to myself as I like to try different hotels. But I love PH. I stayed there for the 1st time for NYE 07/08 and again a few years ago. The casino drew me in. It's very lively, I like the music being played while I gamble, and the dealers and bosses are so cool. It's easy access to the strip and many food options. I didn't like their buffet tho.

I stayed at Caesar last October but gambled mostly at PH. I tried Burgr for the first time and I got my life!!! Those were the best burgers! I'm considering staying there again next October for the 3rd time.

I like it even more now because of it's easy access to Cosmo. Cosmo is on the expensive side but I like hanging out there as well. So the PH/Cosmo combo is very nice.
