CET Corporate offers... do they give food credits/free play like mlife?

I always play MLIFE, but was considering diversifying and playing some at CET, since they give 5 night stays.

How do their corporate offers work? Do they give upfront food comps/free play (like mlife) if you play enough?

I know they automatically liquidate "stored comp credits" before offering backend comps, I was just curious if the upfront offers ever include FP/RC.

CET does give upfront FP/RC offers, if play warrants it of course. Been CET 7* for several years and just recently diversified to MLIFE, and Plat with them now. Just needed a change in scenery as I got tired of the CET hotels/rooms. IMO, CET has a lot more monthly offers/promos for FP/RC than MLIFE does. For example I have several FP/RC offers for May for different days/weekends. For example if I'm in Vegas for more than a week, I'll book a CET room with FP/RC offer for the first 2 days, then book somewhere else for next 2 days, and then book another different CET FP/RC offer again for another 2 days. And yes, they do remove and clear out "ALL" your RCs before they issue backend comps. Most people, or least me, I usually use whatever RC's I have left to convert it to FP or go to the store and buy something with it.

TR/CET website has it's issues sometimes, but IMO it's way more user friendly than MLIFE's website when it comes to booking offers and COMP hotel days. For CET offers, you just select the offer and then use the calendar to see what dates it's available for booking. FYI, CET allows you to book 2 offers on the same reservation as long as one of them is a hard offer and one of them a soft offer. For example, you can't book an offer for FP and RC (if they are 2 separate offers), as they are both considered hard offers. But you can book FP offer and tournament entry offer under reservation as the FP is a hard offer and the tournament offer is a soft offer. This was probably too much info, hope it didn't confuse you. Good luck!!

This was a HUGE help, thank you!

Knowing they give FP/RC (if play warrants it) is HUGE for me, as I've been spoiled with this on mlife and Identity. If I seed an alternate venue, I just need to know I can make the money I play work for me...and this is as important to me as free rooms. (I don't need a huge amount, but I need to know something is possible for me...if play warrants it of course :) )

Again, GREAT post, and very informative, thanks for such a great write-up!

    You're welcome Multi.

I forgot one important aspect of CET offers. CET offers are interchangeable between any of the resorts. Meaning if you have a FP and/or RC offer for one property it is valid for all of them (with exception of a few like tournaments, Great Gift Wrap Up, select gift cards and a few more), so you can book the offer where you want to stay at (if it's available to be booked during the specific dates the offered is tied to). That's one thing I like about CET offers over MLIFE offers, as the better FP/RC offers are usually property specific and kind of limits your choice of where you want to stay if you just want milk the FP/RC offer.

CET does a gazillion offers. I average 3 emails a day from them. I think you know my play level and the offer I always use from CET has been 3 - 5 nights depending on property (but I can always get 5), $100 FP and $50 RC. Vs. ~$150 FP and $100-$200 RC (depending on the property) from MLife. I get that CET offer every two months like clockwork, and it covers dates up to a year in advance.

So, more nights, but less FP & RC than MGM. For certain months, they will offer me $225 FP and $0 RC, but they're never months I can schedule.

I'd say the overall value is about the same, because of the extra free nights.

The cost basis of CET rooms at the top half of properties seems to be creeping up. Where at MLife my offers usually only cover a standard room, at CET I can usually book up a room level or two, which helps offset the difference in room quality, but that is starting to erode a little bit.

I don't think you will get that kind of offer just from seeding though, I think you'd have to seed and then take them up on just plain comp nights on a trip and play at your normal level before you'd get a serious FP & RC offer. I think I would do it that way instead of giving them a full-play day right out of the gate and then keeping my fingers crossed.

CET makes booking a room way easier. You log in and pick the dates, or even the monthly calendar and you see the rates for all Vegas hotels right there. Free or discounted depending on current demand and your play level. You can easily slide into CET with minimal play, then build it up if you want.

I have booked several offers with free play and next month booked an offer with $175 food. Most of the offers come with a three night stay but you can add days to make five. My last trip which included free play was for three nights but I added two more so it showed up as Comp/Offer/Offer/Offer/Comp. The only thing was I couldn't get my free play until the second day. CET has treated me very well for my level of play.

HI Chuck, I had my fingers crossed you'd reply, as I think our play levels are very, very similar....thank you! (And thank you nostress. Kobra and Easy as well...all great advice!)

Not to worry on "seeding". What I meant my seeding is actually using one of the free offers for a few nights, and playing my standard amount, to get RC/FP in the NEXT offer. I just don't want to commit the time/stay if fp/RC are back-end only.

You know I love, love, love Cosmo as my homebase, but it is getting so hot, I am just not sure how long I'll stay on their radar, being a mid-level player. You know, hope for the best but plan for the worst. ;)

Identity gives you crazy perks, but with mlife, even platinum, it's basically cab and buffet cuts. I want to keep my one mlife homebase, but I just don't see the incentive to shove two mlife stays in one trip, especially since the second property always is a bit tighter/prone to bump downs on comped rooms.

So, your feedback (and others) was a HUGE help. Either this trip or next, I'll probably give it a test run.

FYI one question on slots....I noticed at PH all of the bonuses on stuff like Quick Hits stayed at the minimum, versus changing numbers. Is this just a PH thing or all CET?

I'm new to CET so haven't tried this before. Can you add the extra comp nights to an offer if you book online or do you have to phone or book through host to add them?

    That will probably work.

Once thing I would do with CET if/when you decide to seriously put them in your rotation is to figure out how to make Diamond level by taking advantage of the daily TC bonuses for doing either $5,000 or $12,500 coin-in in a day. $5,000 I think is probably reachable for you. $12,500 sounds extreme, but if it's part of a longer stay at a CET property, it's doable; you just concentrate a couple of days' play into one day and then mostly find something else to do the next day.

I don't think your Quick Hits question was directly specifically at me, but I don't know the answer, either.

If you have an offer, and the offer is for say, 3 free nights at Property A, 4 free nights at Property B and 5 free nights at Property C, if your overall play level warrants it, when you go to book the offer at Property A and click the View Total button, it will give you the additional nights comped (up to 5 total free). So it displays like @Kobra2848 describes, something like COMP-OFFER-OFFER-OFFER-COMP, or FREE-FREE-FREE-COMP-COMP.

It doesn't always operate perfectly - there will be dates when the offer isn't available, and possibly dates when the retail price for specific additional nights is high enough so you don't qualify to get them comped, in which case, it will display a price for those nights or reject the whole thing (in which case you might have to call, sometimes they'll override various types of blackouts).

But if there's no "blockers" like that, then you just enter the offer code or click on the link in My Offers, bring up the calendar and choose your dates and it will price everything out, including stays longer than 5 nights.

If you're not used to selecting dates from their calendar display, one thing to keep in mind is that to select a range of dates from the large monthly calendar display, you click on your check in day and the last night you're staying (not your checkout day).

I know exactly what you mean. You mean the progressive bonuses.
As far as I know, most (95%+) CET's Quick Hits machines have the minimum payouts.
I also love the Quick Hits machines, but not those in CET casinos.

Yes. I always book my offers online. My trip next month was three nights with $175 Food $100 Free Play. I thought about adding the Monday night as a comp but decided to save the vacation day to try and squeeze in another trip at the end on the year.

I have never noticed the progressive not moving but I know I have pretty good luck on the bank of them by Earls.

Again, STELLAR advice. I about choked on 12k in one day, but you're right, if I combine two days in one, possible viable. I think trip one will be learning lay of the CET land, trip two really digging into to your DIAD target! Platinum mlife, I actually was really bummed on it being a bit anticlimactic, but Identity is absolutely worth tier jumps, and it sounds CET is too.

I'm actually kind of excited now...thank you for the wonderful feedback! Now I just need a Vegas trip to hurry up and get here ;)

Exactly JeJas! It also is a bummer as I can't tell which ma chines are "over" their standard benchmark for payout. If I see on that''s really high on the mini progressive, I sometimes do a hit and run on it :) (Can't do that when it never changes though!)

The basic Diamond level at CET has relatively valuable benefits - no resort fees, a $100 dinner voucher, separate check in areas, lounges, and enhanced treatment in cases where you have to call to make a reservation. Some of that value ties into how many nights a year you stay at a CET hotel, in my case, it's about half of my room nights.

It's not worth significantly increasing your bankroll to reach, but it can be worth rearranging your play to reach, if you have enough nights in a year to work with.

Not to worry Chuck, I never increase bankroll significantly....I simply target the best bang for the money I already plan to spend. (Though I would "rearrange," great term!)

One advantage of CET is that your play in one casino anywhere within their national network could qualify you for comp rooms in almost all their other casinos. If your play in LV qualifies you for room comps in LV, then most likely you will get comp rooms in most of their other casinos around the country. The reverse is true if you are a regional casino player. I find free play, food credits and show/event tickets are more based on your play at that specific casino.

Read your post tonight right after I checked my TR page.
I was blown away by the hundreds of offers from Las Vegas alone.
Hotel stays plus,Gucci gift cards, other shopping, food, pool credit etc.
I had one stay at CP in late January where I was at a convention for work.
Probably will not use any of them as I usually stay at MLife properties.

MLife never responds that fast though with so many offers.
The noticeable difference to me is the quality of offers.
MLife is suites with hundreds of dollars of RC to RFB where CET sent regular room offers with RC etc.
