First you pointed out the subtle difference between deep dish and stuffed, then you were the first of several to spell Aurelio's correctly....Linda, you are winning the VMB pizza thread.

Aurelio's is just okay. Their sauce is too sweet. Much prefer Beggar's but I don't know if that kinda pizza would go over anywhere other than Chicago. As for Giordano's, I used to work on the same block as the Rush Street location. As much as I loved getting their pizza both thin crust or stuffed, they had great pasta too. I used to get their chicken parm all the time.

The beggars sausage with fresh garlic is my favorite pizza, wife not so much.

There is a local place called pepinos. If alone I will get spicy Italian sausage, hot giardiniera, and fresh garlic. The next day isn't so fun though!

I'm guessing you are talking about Mount Carmel. I used to ride the IC train downtown for college. Many MC boys were on the train in the morning. What a bunch of hooligans. LOL I have a good friend that works at MC.

was there last week and walked by several times and all locations were packed. there is a small take out only window on the upper level, and a really cool glassed in dining room bar on the lower level. wait was about 1/2 hour +/- or you can call in advance for take out. Pizza looked amazing and they also had some really awesome looking sandwiches.

I tried Lou Malnattis in Phoenix and it was pretty good. I cant wait to try Giordanos now that I learned about a deep dish compared to a stuffed pizza. Stuffed sounds so much more delicious as I am a fan of the crust!

Mr Stealth, just noticed you are from Sister Bay. Love Door Coounty. Love Sister Bay Bowl and Al Johnson's. Tried Lure last summer. Amazing halibut. You are lucky to live there for sure!
