    My Trip Report

Boys trip, just 4 days 3 nights.

We split the trip between the strip and Fremont to spice things up. Shit storm at Golden Nugget, their system went down, and a metric ton of slot hit pictures on my website.

Sorry if the mood of this report seems a little sour, Vegas might be changing just too much now for me.

I dont feel the electric sex in the air like I once did.

Thank you! I did talk to an assistant GM at Golden Nugget once I got home. She found me on these boards actually. She did seem very apologetic on the situation. I get it that shit happens. But its all about how you handle it while shit is going down. For that, they failed. I think I played enough to warrant some decent bounce back comps. I'll have to see what they offer me, based on my play, to see if its worth the trek back.

I am a whore for a good comp, and I did like their casino. I just didn't like that it broke so easily LOL

Fantastic report with great pictures. Thanks for uploading in high res, very very clear. Definitely evokes the feeling and spirit of a slot-focused trip, bookmarked :)

I had no idea, they were the one casino we didn't go in on the strip except for most of the CET ones. I'll have to take a peak the next time I'm in town. thanks for the tip!

I would say it is exactly like my own trip except I don't have a brother snore on airplane, also I mostly just play VP.

    Nice report!

Sucks about what happened at the Nugget and sounds they dropped the ball on the outage. But network problems will always be disasters. I wonder how much faster things would have went if they were more prepared.

Thanks! I switched to imgur for the pictures. Photobucket turned into a pesky ad supported pile of shit. So I moved on.

I tried to stay positive, since I know bad things can happen anywhere. But the GN could have handled it all sooooo much better. And that was the bee in my bonnet.

Let me add - I've read all of grids reports on his site. They're all worth a read. I'm sitting in Logan now on my way out. My usual degen partner bailed last minute. Jerk. I wish I had gone last week to meet up with you guys, I like to get around to as many places as possible too. DT might be a little ambitious solo.

    Grid,
Awesome report! Again, sorry to hear about the fiasco at GN!
Would've been a bummer for someone stopping on the way to the cab line (and eventually airport) to have a hundo or two stuck in a machine!

IMO, if Wonder Woman pilots an invisible plane she should be wearing an invisible outfit! :wink2:

I thought my computer screen went haywire when I scrolled onto this pic, Grid! That is definitely a Strip-view boner killer!

Thanks again for the great report! :D

Amen to that. Photobucket is terrible for that now. I have tried google photos in recent TRs, but adding image links with them have sucked a bit (addresses are literally hundreds of characters).

We could have caused so much chaos together CD! If I would have struck it rich I'd still be in Vegas waiting on ya :drunk:

Q: Why can't Wonder Woman drive a car? A: Because she's a woman! Sorry I couldn't resist myself. If the picture of my view looked bad on your PC, imagine how vertigo inducing it was in real life!

Great report and helped pass the time until my trip next month. Sucks about the issue at the Golden Nugget. I'm not sure I could have waited it out.
