I'm curious how many regional exclusive restaurants (fast food, and dine in) are located in Las Vegas. Off the top of my head I can think of Shake Shack, In-n-Out, White Castle, Fatburger, Steak n Shake. For some reason all I know is the burger joints. I really enjoy taking advantage of being in Las Vegas and trying these types of places that would normally require me to drive hundreds of miles in various directions. If you all have any I don't know about, listing them would be appreciated.

Maggiano's, Goose Island, and Giordano's are all popular in the Chicago area and are also located on the Strip

Where's the Goose Island on the strip? Or are you referring to the pub at Hard Rock?

Large nation-wide fast food/more affordable dine-in chains (not including steakhouses, fine dining, etc) in Las Vegas include Raising Cane's (chicken tenders), Jersey Mike's (subs), Panda Express (Chinese), Jamba Juice (smoothies), Chick fil-A, and Grimaldi's (coal-fired thin crust pizza). Smaller nation-wide chains include Hash House a go go (breakfast), Jollibee (Filipino), Sprinkles Cupcakes, Hofbrauhaus (German), Shake Shack (hamburgers), Earl of Sandwich, Pollo Campero (fried chicken), L&L Cafe (Hawaiian), Jinya (Ramen), and Halal Guys (shawarma). More regional chains might include Chowking (from the Philippines originally but located throughout CA/fried chicken), Original Tommy's (from LA/hamburgers), Nathan's Famous (from NYC/hot dogs), Roberto's Taco Shop (from Southern California), Rubio's (from San Diego/known for fish tacos), Gen Korean BBQ (from CA), and Capriotti's (from DE originally but now based in Vegas/subs). Smaller regional chains with just a few locations include Tacos El Gordo (originally from Tijuana but expanded to CA and LV/known for tacos especially adobada), Papaya King (from NYC/hot dogs and fruit drinks), Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken (from NYC), Carnegie Deli (from NYC), Paina Cafe (from Hawaii/poke), Thai Original BBQ Restaurant (from LA), Chengdu Taste (from LA/it's been called the best Sichuan food in the country), Eggslut (from LA/breakfast sandwiches), Milk Bar (from NYC/desserts), Pink's (from LA/hot dogs), and in the near future Canter's deli (from LA). Restaurants that have one location in a city and another location in Las Vegas include Marugame Monzo (from LA/Udon noodles) and Dirt Dog (from LA/hot dogs). Lastly, Hot & Juicy is a restaurant that started in Las Vegas and expanded elsewhere.

Nice listing, lots of work. Personally I avoid chains whenever possible.

    TGI Fridays, Bahama Breeze, Lowrys,

What's a chain? Bouchon in Yountville and at the Venezia. Chain? Border Grill? Any Emeril/Puck/Flay/Mina/Etc. restaurant whatever the name over the door?

    Mon Ami Gabi.

My daughter works at a local Chilis and we laughed when they built one on the strip.

I'll second the recommendation for Capriotti's. Try the Bobbie. I'm hungry just thinking about it. Also, PT's is a local chain pub/restaurant that's open 24h with pretty solid food. All my service industry friends go there for video poker, apps, and drinks in the wee hours of the morning after they get off.

I was going to say Cheeseburger, but I see it closed up back in October. Much disappoint.

Their only locations are now in Hawaii. We always stopped at Cheeseburger.

The Lahaina (and Waikiki?) location is not part of the chain, however.

Three in Maui and four in Waikiki. They are a separate chain from Jimmy Buffet's Cheeseburger in Paradise.

I'm pretty sure the one in Wailea is chain, not the locally owned one. No?

Regardless, Lahaina makes it for that setting. Love sitting up top, looking at Lanai.

Gotcha. No need to apologize; I was just curious if there was another location on the strip I didn't know about.
