Its so close... pondering...

yet seems so far. Just a few more days and I will be in Paradise. I am going with no plans except for a show on Monday night, I am packing light, debating weather to check my bag or carry on, more than likely check it just for ease of getting on/off the plane. No big heavy camera this trip, just an iPhone 7 plus and possible a pocket tripod for it, this in of itself is new to me since I always carry a DSLR on vacation, but wanted the freedom of not worrying about it.

This evening I went and bought several new outfits for the trip, seems the only time I clothes shop is when I am going on a trip somewhere, packed nearly everything. Pulled my bankroll out of the bank as well.

The one thing I am pondering, live trip report, one long one or both? In the past I have done both, it was a lot of work but fun. I was thinking of just a mostly photo report with some captions and then typing something up. I have really enjoyed that style of report but who knows, only time will tell, just like the trip I guess its not something I will plan but will just do.

If anyone wants to meet up between the 16 and 21st I should be able to make some time, just message me on here.

I dont do food porn, its rare that I take a photo of food so no worries there. I have always threatened to take a pic of my poop and make it clear that is the food porn a few hours after eating, BUT I wont ever do that to anyone. I cant wait to get there, cant wait to finally do this. I missed last year and so I have not been since June 2015. For the past two weeks I eat, sleep, dream Vegas, everything is Vegas right now. I don't think I have been this excited to go in quite some time, not sure why it is, maybe its due to working seven days a week for four months to pay for it, but regardless its VEGAS.

 

You deserve one fantastic trip! And whatever method you choose for your TR is A OK with me!
Will be impatiently waiting.

Going with the flow it will be. This time is dragging by thats for sure.

 

I think a photo report would be awesome. I was thinking about doing the same on my quick trip next month with a followup after I get back. Good luck and I can't wait to see what you decide.

Good advise. I am more than likely going to provide some type of live report, I love the feedback and at times have found the suggestions given in response to something posted to be worth while.

 

I appreciate trip reports, but lately it seems like I mostly just browse through the photos. if something catches my eye I pause. good luck!

 

I am guilty of doing the same

 

I'm usually ok with a trip report unless I'm losing on everything I touch. I just feel like, I can only post how poor the gambling is so many times with no photos of wins, so many times. I'm not a big explorer of Vegas, either. I don't go to shows and I don't walk the strip. I cab it everywhere. I actually take a cab from Venetian to Bally's. Lol So I only have photos of food IF I even eat. Mostly drink my calories in Vegas. Also the two of the 3 casinos I book rooms at, Palazzo, Cosmo, & Wynn) I always seem to have trouble posting from wifi and my service is poor in the casinos. I'll try to do one for my upcoming trip, but if there is radio silence all day it's because I'm just not winning anything. Or getting any hits worth posting and taking a photo of.

 

I usually do a little gambling, then walk around and just enjoy the city. Little here and there. I can gamble anywhere, I cant enjoy Vegas anywhere.
