We got married at Tomasello Winery (will be 15 years next month). My wife isn't a big wine drinker but likes their blueberry wine.

Thanks for the heads up. I've never even walked in that small vicinity. Didn't think there were anymore VP machines that far. Thought it was all regular slots.

Two years ago, we bought a Groupon for the Renault wine tour and a dining credit at Joseph's restaurant, it was a pretty good deal and our lunch was fine. But the winery fell into bankruptcy, I don't know who is running it now.

There is a Groupon for the golf course, the best deal is $105 for a party of 4 including carts, any time.

Harrah's is a great casino -- some great machines there. I just never have luck. Guess I need to try upping the bet!

Great deep dive info! Gonna bookmark this for my 'heavy reading' sessions. o_O Thanks for sharing!

(Explains my generally good results on Double Diamond Deluxe and can't win history on Lobstermania - however I enjoy playing higher variance Lobstermania :bang:).

Bally's is my gambling spot. Less tourists, more wins, nice drinks.
However, I heared Bally's is the next to shut down, after closures of Taj Mahal, Revel, Show Boat, Hilton, there arent many choices on the boardwalk.
Money is going to the Marina area, so as to avoid beggers, bums, tourists, the cold, etc.

I know they can't sell Bally's easily because they built Caesars' Centurian Tower on top of the Wild West part of Bally's casino.

I have a couple of host friends left in AC and I haven't heard this Bally's rumor anywhere. I spend some time on the AC forums as well. I cant see that happening. Number 1, no buyers. Number 2 they just sunk a bunch of money on the Wild Wild West side, including the Boardwalk area. Number 3 they just spent some decent money in the Bally's casino sprucing that up, as well as the 2nd floor eateries.

Just doesn't seem right. Taj shut down and was sold within months to Hard Rock, so that closure is short lived. Revel will one day be rebirthed as Ten. So it shouldnt be closed long. Showboat is already back as a hotel and they are in the middle of turning the old casino into some sort of events center. And even the old Hilton was sold and plans approved for a waterpark there. Not sure if that will ever happen.

So with all of the closings, only Trump Plaza and probably the Hilton are left for dead. If CET dumped Ballys there is no value there at all for them to do so. Might as well keep it running since the buying pool is plenty small in AC

I doubt Bally's is going anywhere, but even though renovations have been happening throughout the CET properties, if any one needs it it's Bally's. I say rebrand it, knock out a few walls and make it an all-suite type property. Caesars and Harrah's are what we think they are. Bally's is just eh. Zero special about it except the location, and in AC that means way less than it does in Vegas.
