I usually take an early morning flight from BWI so I will be in Vegas around 11 A.M. PDT. I like to get at least 2 Bloody Mary's during the flight. I often get looks of disdain from other passengers.

I don't give two shits. I start playing some mild air guitar and air drums to classic rock once the booze hits.

Should I care or continue to do whatever I want, as long as no one is hurt?

I'm just throwing this out there, because I'm going to do whatever I want anyway.

Why should you care what others think if you're not harming them. If you drank that at home, well, that's another story.
    You're on vacation!

Nothing wrong with drinking on the plane, I sat next to guy on a connection from KC to MSP(about 45 min flight), where he had 3 beers, the last one requested min before landing, the flight attendant said "you'll have to slam it", and he did. I was quite impressed.

Why the looks from the other passengers? They need to lighten up!

Was it here or somewhere else that I saw that flights to Las Vegas sell more booze in flight than any other U.S. destination?

EDIT - Found it! I stumbled across it while watching YouTube videos of drunk and unruly flyers being dragged off planes.

    I have no life.

Hell no. I usually order a merlot on our 8 AM flight and could give two sh*ts what anybody thinks. My wife always has a bloody or a beer.

If you're being judged by your fellow passengers on a flight to Vegas (VEGAS!!!) then we all know who's about to have the better vacation.

Why should drinking at home be another story? If a person wants to drink, it's their right.

I have found out that most people on that particular flight are not going to Las Vegas for vacation.

This is more intended as an observation about that.

The drums might be an issue if your cymbals, hi-hat and floor toms are located outside of your seating area. :headbang:

I rarely drink on a plane (don't know why.) Don't care what others do, drink away. Unless you are an obnoxious drunk then please stop before you get that way.

That's what I drink on a morning flight to Vegas. I had 4 free drink tickets so we all had one. I thought we were being classy as we were at least ordering AM approved drinks! The others are just jealous!

Drink Up, that's vacation. I take the early morning flight as well. The airport starts serving booze at 6 am which is perfect for my 8 am flight!

Breeze, this is a classic drinking problem. One mouth and two hands, you should be two fisting in your seat.

You should start at the bar in BWI before you board. Is this a Southwest flight?

Once the door is closed, it is SPACE TIME... or in this case - VEGAS TIME.

You will find many others drinking as well. Beers, wine, whiskey...

When other passengers order drinks that don't have alcohol in them, they often get looks of disdain from me.

I am not keen on drinking on the plane...but if you're not annoying others, then why not. I think people are just giving you the eye because they're jealous...
