pretty long career from stand up to the beach blanket movies, to Crapgame in Kellys Heroes,
CPO Sharkey and tons of small bit on TV.

Glad I got to see him in Vegas many years ago. One of the funniest shows I ever saw. He was on his game that night

    RIP Billy Sherbert

    RIP Mr. Rickles.

The lights on The Strip should be dimmed for this man.

Saw him a few years ago and then again last year. Really funny even in his late 80's. His act really was an act. A genuinely nice guy. I'll have to watch Casino again soon.

One of the greats. I remember having the L.P. "Hello Dummy" as a kid and playing it all the time.
He and Newhart were great together
Thanks for all the laughs over the years Don.
    Rest in Giggles.

One of the last true greats. I recently watched some of his Dean Martin roast appearances on youtube.
I hadn't seen them in many years. I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

I saw him at the Sahara in the early 80s. Sherman Helmsley, George Jefferson, came on stage and yukked it up with him for 15 minutes of the best stand up I've ever seen. If I could enter the "wayback machine" and revisit only one show that I've been to in Vegas that would by far be the one. R.I.P. Don Rickles.:clap::clap:

I saw him back in the mid '70's in Las Vegas. I can't remember where, but it was one of the old places. Side splitting funny.

RIP. We saw him 3 times in Vegas. The first back in the 70s or 80s, the last at Orleans about 4 years ago. iirc.

I was 23 when I saw him in Las Vegas. My dad had to tell everyone I had seen him. I do not think there are any entertainers now that will give warm memories.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

A few years back when I was in Vegas I noticed he was coincidentally performing and I was intending to go, but wouldn't you know it a night out of extremely serious drinking put me out of commission the next day and I thought "some other time"......well, I guess not.

RIP Mr. Rickles, you brought joy to many lives.

    A true legend!

One of those entertainers that I'd find when flipping channels and no matter what he was on I'd keep watching just to see what he said and did.

I remember some of those classic moments on Carson, some including Sinatra!

Right now he's probably up to something in the great comedy club upstairs...:D

Thanks for the memories, Don!

I always liked him on the Dean Martin celebrity roasts and as Crapgame in Kelly's Heroes.

RIP Don Rickles. I love how the famous insult comic finished his career by playing Mr. Potato Head in the "Toy Story" films. Little kids had absolutely no idea. :p

"Las Vegas is the boiling point of entertainment"
    - Don Rickles

"Oh my God, look at you. Anyone else hurt in the accident?"

"Keep in touch, we'll have lunch"

When you enter a room, you have to kiss his ring.
I don't mind, but he has it in his back pocket.

    (on Frank Sinatra)

"You don’t have to call me 'sir' ... King of All Jews is enough."
    Late Night, 1983

"I said, 'Stand up, Frank, be yourself ... and hit somebody.'"
–recounting the time he first met Frank Sinatra on
    The Daily Show, 2008

Good Night Mr. Potato Head, Hockey Puck, Mr. Warmth
