We sat in the first few rows (second and fourth, respectively) on a quick trip to see Barry Manilow and Elton John shows. Both were fantastic but I am a big Elton John fan and the others were more Manilow fans. All of us had a great time at both shows.

The Elton John show was "Vegas style"--not nearly as long as the concert settings I had seen him in before but it was probably my favorite show of his next to the concert I saw when he toured with Billy Joel. The staging they can do, the theater, etc. all made it easily my favorite show in that venue (the others were Cher and Celine Dion).

He had Ray Cooper with him...what an awesome master of percussion...always like seeing him...

    Enjoy the show!!

One of my all time favorite shows was Billy Joel and Elton John touring together - they rocked the place, just awesome talent and they didn't phone it in - wow, the energy...the audience went wild the whole show, I was exhausted on the ride home - what a great feeling.

It a great show and venue. We saw Elton, plus we saw Celine twice. Balcony all 3 times but not a bad seat. The place only holds about 4000 people.

Just booked it this morning, rear orchestra section 4, row o. Look like they should be decent seats.

We had dinner at Mesa Grill (right across from the Colosseum) before seeing the show in February. Rao's is also right around the corner and doesn't disappoint (but may be a bit heavy)

    But it's SO DELICIOUS :)

If you don't want to eat too heavy there, get the lemon chicken with a side of peas & proscuitto

Great show. Had 3rd row seats. At one point they escort people from the first 3 rows up on stage to surround him as he sings/plays. A once in a lifetime opportunity. You should go for sure!
