I go to Vegas once a year in October for a long weekend. According to my 2016 tax info on the MLife website. I had a little over $15,200 in coin-in over the 2 nights that I stayed and played at the Luxor. 99.9% percent was on VP. I earned 16,984 tier credits. This was my 1st time staying at Luxor. I got 2 days free after staying with a friend at the Monte Carlo in 2015. I only had $5,400 over 3 days at the MC.

I am now getting various offers from various MLife casinos. The best offer is for 3 free nights, $100 resort credit, and call for free play amount at the Luxor. Unfortunately, I can't book yet, because the valid dates are only through 9/13/17. And I want to go in October.

    1) Should I expect a similar type of offer (3nights, resort credit and free play) when they extend it through the dates I need? Or should I try to move my trip up one month to September?

    2) I am not complaining. I would have booked this offer if it had the dates I wanted. But is this a fair offer for my coin in? I had to pay for resort fees in 2016. And I think the current offer said something about me having to pay them again.

    3) Is $15,200 coin-in over 2 days decent in the eyes of the casino? I assume my current offers are from marketing. Should I be talking to host? Will he be able to do better? I just don't want to leave any comps that I may be entitled to on the table. Last year I think I paid $40 or $60 out of pocket after applying the $75 resort credit and my express comps. I charged $125 in food to the room and of course 2 nights of resort fees.

2 days? Is 2 nights accurate?

I think think you will probably get the same offer (or close) in the next cycle, and it seems fair.

$15,000 coin in at a 2% theo gives you $300 total theo. If it was 2 nights, that's $150 a night in theo, worth about $50 a night in total comps.

If you have dates ready for OCT - I would call and give it shot. They might book it anyways.

I think that's "decent" for the lower end casinos in the mLife universe (Excalibur, Luxor and Circus Circus). You'd need to step it up a little to get Mandalay Bay, Mirage, or MGM, and Monte Carlo after it's remodeled. You are WAY below what's needed for Aria or Bellagio.

Dailun: I'm not understand your logic. How does someone who is putting through $8K coin in per day going to step it up? That's the equivalent of playing max bet for 4 consecutive hours.

In the past you could get comped rooms all day long at Bellagio for that play.

How do you propose the OP to step it up? $25 a pull??

If you want don't to wait... you can always call their VIP services I'm sure when they look at your offers and plays they can extend it to October. If not like @Chuck2009x mentioned you will get silmiar offers for next cycle as well.

$8K coin in on VP is very low for comps.
As @Chuck2009x said above, the daily theo is just $150.
The offers mentioned by OP are marketing offers. If you go to talk to a host, he/she will tell you that your
play is not enough to cover the room itself.

    To answer your three questions:
decent? No. casino still making profit? Yes.
No. But you can certainly do it if you insist.
    No.

I don't think Bellagio has given comp rooms $8K coin in per day.
Maybe many years ago but not recently.
I can find out what they are looking for but I thought I remember a number over $10K per day slots.Higher on VP.

Ok Thanks for the replies. Like I said I am happy with the offer. Just didn't want to leave any on the table. Also I am fine with staying at the lower end properties of MLife. I don't need even their middle tier hotels much less a Bellagio or Aria. I'm actually one of the few that loved the Imperial Palace before they were bought out by Harrahs.

I will call to see if they will extend into October once my dates are more firm.

How do you work out your comps?

If you have coin in just over 150k for 5 days on slots only what would that equal for comps?

I don't play slots very much but I will take a flyer and wait for some slot aficionados to respond.
Depending on the denomination of slots the hold % will vary.
If you take an overall 5% hold on 150k coin in it will yield a $7500 theo.
25-30% of that will be your available comps.
That should be enough to cover room and some F+B depending on your room type and meals.

$150K coin in on slots is quite a lot.
Need to see a host in order to get best comps.

In CET terms, 150K coin in is 30,000 TC.

My calculations would be between $3000-$4500 in comp money, and depending on the number of days for your trip, should cover just about anything.

And . . . if you had 150K coin in at a single casino, hosts should have been looking for YOU!!!

About 120k was same resort rest across another couple

Got a host who seems to take care of things I just wonder how far that goes and what the actual value in it maybe as I never seem to run up much of a room charge or asked for much apart from my room and handful of meals
