I've always been a table games guy but over the last few trips really started enjoying VP.
Just a question on which games people like the best and have the best luck. I see Jacks or Better, double bonus, triple bonus, ect, ect, ect... Would love to hear anyone's opinion.

No doubt you've done some research. It all depends on your tolerance for variance. Also, of course, finding the best pay table available for a given game.

JOB has the lowest variance, which makes your bankroll last longer but also makes the game pretty dull if you're a long-time VP player. Games like Triple Double have sky-high variance (like around ten times JOB), which eats up your money fast if you don't get lucky early. But of course they are very exciting when you get something like four of a kind.

My wife and I play just about anything with a decent pay table, though not much JOB anymore because it's too boring. We gamble mostly for entertainment, and unless you get a royal flush, JOB doesn't provide much.

    Deuces Wild.
Mostly (if available) NSUD (99.73%, 16-10). Even if Full Pay is available I slightly prefer the NSUD game because your money lasts longer there.

It honestly depends where I am playing. My personal favorite is Double Double Bonus, but I have been to known to play triple play bonus poker. I like to play triple bonus poker plus at TAG Bar in the Linq and Bonus Deluxe at the D and Golden Gate.

I play mostly double double bonus. When it's hitting, it's great, but if it's not, your money can go really fast.

No matter what you play watch the odds because one VP machine can go from 10-6 odds down to 6-5 odds by just changing to another game.

I mostly play DDB poker because it's more exciting. And that is where I have won the vast majority of my Royal Flushes.

I will play triple if the odds are high enough. And when I find duces wild bonus poker I like this game but it's harder to find.

    Have fun

Bonus poker mostly but I will mix it up with DDB or TDB on occasions.

Love bonus deuces but it is harder to find. I am happy with DB, esp if there is a progressive on the premium hands.

I play the best-paying or second-best paying game in the casino I visit, and only after having the strategy down cold. I will occasionally play STP for nickels or dimes, even though that game is nearly always a loser.

We have really started to enjoy Super double double, hitting J,Q,K with kicker or having aces with J,Q,K kicker gives a lot more payout and in the $1/2 level the best game at Caesars about the same % as 9/6 DDB. Rick

I usually stick with 8/5 BP or 9/7 DB. We stay downtown, so it's pretty easy to find one (if not both) of those games on bartops. The variance isn't too high on those games, so your bankroll lasts a bit longer while you enjoy an adult beverage or three...or four...or more...

My favorite VP game is 10/7 Double Bonus! Also I play 9/6 Jacks or better. Gotta learn Deuces Wild, everyone seems to like that. Double Double is also mucho popular, so I may study up on that too.

I mostly play Deuces Wild, because I have studied it the most, and it makes my money last longer. I will play DDB if I've done well at the tables, and go for the big score/higher risk that it brings.

My strategy is to put $200 into a machine and start with Double Double Bonus. I play at the $1 level. If I find myself down $100, I switch to Bonus Poker and try to work my bankroll back up to $200. If I get it back to $200, I switch back to DDB. If, while playing BP, my bankroll goes down to $0, it's time to finish my drink and move on to the next casino and start the process over.

Depends where I'm sitting at the casino. If I'm trying to milk the bar for some beer, best believe I'm making those quarters last on a game of JoB or BP. I don't really dabble with TDB because I play for royals and would rather the lower volatility. Plus, your strategy is supposed to change per the game you play...rather be a master of one vs a master of none.

I usually start off with Double Double. If it's not going well I'll try Double Bonus. I also like Deuces Wild Bonus when I can find it. I try triple sometimes but usually don't last long on it.

I tend to be like bardolator and play the highest return game wherever I'm at. I like most games other than Joker Wild. TDB is a bit too crazy for me too.

If returns are ignored, I probably would say Super DDB is my favorite simply because the luck I've had on it in the short term, so of course it's fun then! I'm also a fan of a good bonus game.
