I was just reading an article about a game called "Danger Arena" that's basically a skill-based gambling video game at all three Caesars properties in Atlantic City. Anybody ever play them? How did you like them? I checked out a gameplay video on YouTube and it looks like a lot of fun.

There are a couple skill based machines near the Mountain Bar in Wild Wild West. Never played them though.

They are total crap and a complete waste of money, and they are rigged, you go around an arena shooting the bad guys, there are lots of bad guys (great news) and they are very easy to kill (even more great news), you need to kill about 6 before you start making money (easy right!), however, there is a problem, some of the bad guys are invincible, and as soon as you have killed 5 bad guys every other bad guy turns invincible so you cannot win, it's a fix and a con so don't waste your money.

I hope that sums it up for you and helps you save a few $$$'s

What about the Egyptian game that's like Candy Crush? My wife is actually interested in gaming on our next trip because she heard about that game.

I imagine these so call "skilled based gaming" are rigged exactly like the ones you find in the arcade, games like Stacker. Sure it might require some skill but in the end it's all random.

Kind of reminds me of playing NBA Jam in the arcade as a kid. No matter what you did, you had to be ahead by four points at the end of the game, because the computer opponent always hit a 3-pointer from the other end of the court at the buzzer. Every video game is rigged. And every casino game is rigged too, so it makes sense to combine the two.

100% rigged, don't waste your time and money, they are NOT skill games when you actually can NOT win unless it wants to let you win. No matter how skilled you are, if it's not going to let you win, you will not win!

I've seen it, and it looks like a junk 80's Nintendo 1st person shooter game with poor cheesy graphics and sound. And you have to stand up to play it like an old arcade game. None of that resonates with millennials, just old farts like me that grew up in the 80's. And I don't have any interest in these.

Even that is still not a real skill game since the computer can pick how many robots to send out for you to kill (you have to kill like 10 during a countdown or something) and if you really suck it can give you a random award credit for nothing.

So its still very much controlled. And the way the game looks, plays, it has a retro feel to it so it will NOT entice many millennials into playing it. If they think these games, in their current incarnation, will gets the kids to gamble they are wrong.

Reminds me of the scene in back to the future II where the future kids play the 80's arcade game and say it was for babies.
