Difference between Wynn and Encore?

Are they the same? I thought I remember reading (somewhere) that Encore was the more reasonably priced. Is that true?

What's the difference between them? Rooms? Pools? Restaurants? Casino?

They're connected, aren't they?

 

They are connected. The two biggest differences are that the Wynn side gets bigger crowds, especially in the casino. And the Encore side has the much better spa. There are other, smaller differences as well. But really, its a five minute walk between them. They are connected by a hallway of shops. To me, its all one hotel with two different towers

 

A big difference is that Wynn is farther away from the noise and chaos that is Encore Beach Club during the summer.

 

It does feel like on big hotel. I was just looking and the Encore rooms are more expensive.

 

Encore is typically more affordable, is newer and I generally prefer it's more laid back casino over Wynn. That being said, Encore can get noisy in the summer time.

Like other have said, it might as well be called Wynn resort with Wynn Tower and Encore Tower.

A couple more differences, if entering through the main hotel entrance for Wynn you have to walk through the casino to get to the hotel elevators unless you are in the Tower suites. At Encore, you do not have to walk through the casino to get to the hotel elevators.

The basic rooms are different in the two hotels. Wynn rooms are set up with bed and seating area all together. Encore has a divider wall between the bed and sitting area. The TV in the Encore room swivels so you can watch it either from the bed or in the seating area.

The vibe at Encore is more laid back for sure. Other posters are correct if you have a south facing room at Encore in the summer you will hear the beach club on those days it is open. This is especially true if you are in a Tower room as those rooms are located at the end of the hotel closest to the beach club.

Both hotels are beautiful and provide outstanding service.

To be honest I can't even tell I'm in one or the other. On weekends the Encore casino is more subdued and laid back, though.
