Heading to Vegas March 23-March 26 primarily to watch the second weekend of March madness. Am looking for some suggestions on good sports bar type places to watch the games. Have been to vegas half a dozen times but not for the last few years.

Good TV viewing is a must as watching the games is the primary purpose but other things to consider are overall atmosphere, quality / price of food and beverage, proximity to sports betting window and overall location.

I think I read that the Cosmo redid their sportsbook so that might be an option, but doesn't necessarily have to be a sports book, we are open to anything! We are staying centre strip.

    Thanks!

I like the westgate sports book with the deli in the back. Big screen TVs and comfortable

The Mirage sportsbook meets all of your criteria..

If you want to head downtown The Cal has a recently remodeled sportsbook that I find to be fun with $3 tequila shots $3 corona $4 red bull/vodka with a quality steakhouse and cafe a few steps across the casino

I would probably spend some time at the Cosmo book, they did a very nice job with it. I am a fan of Laagasse's stadium too. Both of these have betting windows right there and more than just TVs to watch the games. Tom's Urban is just off of the NYNY sports book in the old ESPN Sports Zone space, I like the food there and there are a lot of TVs throughout the place. The new Level Up in MGM seems like it could be a lot of fun, although I haven't spent any time there, it's close to their book as well. Mirage is a good place as well, they have the Carnegie Deli and CPK right next to the book for food. The bar right by the Wynn's book is a great place too.

If you don't want to limit yourself to places close to a betting window, download any of the sports books apps. I used the Mlife app for the SB and was satisfied with its ease of use. I was more satisfied with getting a halftime bet in from the seat at the party I was at instead of having to get up and get in a line.

Have fun, I've been this weekend before and it is a great time to be in Las Vegas.

Good info, keep it coming! We don't have to be by a betting window but that would be nice. I'm going to go research the Mlife app right now as that sounds like a great alternative. Have always wanted to go this weekend, its after the crazy first week of march madness but still tons of basketball (and better games!!).

So the sportsbook attached places are likely to be fairly crowded...

Cosmo sportsbook is a fantastic choice, but you are likely to find it will be packed and no place to sit. Excellent televisions, decent service at the bar. Caesar's re-did their sportsbook, there's a bar near it now with a great view of the TVs, but limited seats. Will be full for the weekend games. But if you get there early and can grab a seat, you're set.

Other sportsbooks nearby suck...Paris, Bally's, Flamingo are awful with ugly TV quality. Bellagio sportbook is just okay, there is a bar attached, but not my favorite and kind of small.

You may want to consider bars that aren't attached to a sportbook, but are within a minute or two walk from the betting windows. Someplace like Beer Park at Paris...great atmosphere, excellent TVs, and it's just a 2 minute jaunt down the stairs, into Paris, and to the sportsbook there. (But beware the 4.7% fee they tack on to your bill.)

If Cosmo sportsbook is full, you can check out the Clique Bar (kind of in the middle on the casino floor between the sportsbook and the check-in desk). They have a couple of TVs. Not a sportsbar-like place, but you might love Cosmo enough you want to hang out there. Close enough to the sportsbook you can run over and make bets.

So maybe get out before the games, find a place that has TVs, the atmosphere and menu you like, and I'm sure they'll have the games on when they start.

Aria Sportsbook is nice ... and non smoking if you may be looking for that. Five50 Pizza is right outside the book and is great. Reasonably priced by Aria standards as well..

Yard House at the Linq is a decent place to watch a game, if you are looking for a sports bar. Caesars and Mirage if you are looking for a book.

I like the Caesars sportsbook for casual viewing but for a bit more of an event and adventure you might wanna check out Lagasse's as previously mentioned. It's quite a scene there. Pretty cool inside.

The south point sports book is really good, they have a separate sports book area for horse racing, so the
Two crowds don't mix. There's a really good deli counter at the sports book that makes chicken wings, all sorts of sandwiches, pizza slices, lots of baked items muffins, cookies, etc. also a hot dog cart selling good dogs for $1.75

Hubby is a HUGE college sports fan and tvs are a must for him too. (And places where you can talk sports with others.) His favorite might be Blondies. PH I believe, or somewhere close?
